Well, it only took many months but I finally got round to finishing this very very small mod. The graphical aspect i.e red dagger re texture, has been completed to much request. The reason for the mod taking so long to create is due to a mix of my laziness and the amount of work I have to do for college.
Sorry for the late reply, I am going to make a retex at some point. Hopefully soon. I was snowed in with college work which made it impossible for me to do well anything really.
Right, so i have ran into a issue which is to do with the rubix cube. I have been trying to learn how to make one and how to texture it in blender. I have only managed to make one, the meshe but getting it textured is something that eludes me. If anyone here knows how to do would you mind letting me know. Thanks in advance
Ok, using Blender at first and creating UV Maps can be a pain. Basic controls are: scrolling wheel zooms in and out, clicking the wheel and moving it around rotates the camera, right mouse button select objects and holding it selects the object to move around, click with the left mouse button to confirm the placement and right to cancel it. On the upper bar, with "File, Render, Window, Help" you can change the UI layout to display the UV maps, it will be at "Default" at first, so you change it to "UV Editing", so you can preview how the unwrapped model looks like, it's important because the more sense the UV maps make, the easier it will be to create a texture. Moving on, you select the object you want to create the UV maps for, in the lower bar with all those options and icons, find an icon with "Object Mode" written on it and change it to "Edit Mode", then you proceed to right click on each little dot and "draw" lines, those lines are where the object will be cut and unwrapped, turning it into a 2d pic so you can add texture to it. You use shift+click to add a dot to the UV mapping, and ctrl+click to create a line from one point to another. This process can be really boring, btw. After you're done, you click on the left panel with all those options "Shading/UV", then click on "Mark Seam", after the red lines appear, you select all of the object by pressing "a" twice, click on "unwrap" then "unwrap" again (it's above "mark seam" or in the lower bar under "meshes"), it will create the UV Maps as you can see on the left screen. Then you create a new image on the lower bar, click on "image" then "new image" (or you can click the "plus" button in that bar), select the resolution you want, 1k - 1024, 2k - 2048, 4k - 4096, make sure "alpha" is checked, but you can add a background color if you don't want transparency (there are also background options to help you identify what is what in the mesh, like "colour grid"). After the new image has been created, click on "UV" on the upper bar and then "Export UV layout", save the picture and then open in your image editor of choice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8Dxh4QOuqE http://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/38133/how-to-export-uvmap-to-paint-with-external-tools Hope this will be of help. EDIT: idk what's up with these emojis.
Version 3 has been released. It contains an Overpowered version of the dagger for all who wanted it. Read the mod description to see where to get dagger and how to get the overpowered version.
Blade should be remeshed to change the color to the proper shade of red. Base damage should be insanely high. Enchantment damage needs to be higher also. Literally, anyone could make this "mod" in the base vanilla game with an ordinary iron dagger and the fire damage enchant, with smithing and enchanting at level 1, and not take up a slot in their load order.

Most of all have fun
Also a little remesh would be nice.

It honestly needs to do much more damage
