I have used the scracth version for a day instead of lock picking pro which is too much of a cheat. How about doing a version that looks like cloth or paper the thief has placed over the lock. Great work, well diserved endorsement.
I believe Toeler said "scratches", not "stretches" - it took me like 15 min to figure out what the heck you meant by "stretches"... lol! Otherwise, looks cool, gonna give it a try! Thx!
I like the idea but it's still a bit odd looking to me. I can understand a thief marking the door but the markings look more like weld lines rather than metal scratches.
I was wondering if you could just make it a pattern at regular intervals around the whole circular part of the lock as if it was part of the design of the lock cover.
Here are some images of what I mean. http://www.minksemporium.com/Key_Hole_Cover4_4.jpg http://www.antique-hardware.com/KH-114d.jpg http://www.winterbrookfarmantiques.com/images/thumbs/1211.jpg
It makes the lock look un-tampered with but it gives a reference for remembering the previous position of the lock. There isn't a need to make the pattern spacing so fine and small like the examples though, that would make it hard to keep track of the lockpick position. Spacing like in your stretches should be enough.
Though I doubt it is yet possible, I'd appreciate if this could be made into an item, quest benefit, or lockpicking perk. I guess this won't happen until the Creation Kit is released? ;o ... Nevertheless, great work.

This is just a request, suggestion and/or idea.
Considering the nature of Master difficulty locks, I'd have thought that something like this would/should have been in the game from the offset.
Good job!
