    Is there a similar mod that simply removes the fire/lightning/frost hit effect with enchanted weapons? I find it really silly that your enemies are lighted on fire by getting struck with a fire enchanted weapon.

    great tweak thanks, i see this effects on-hit shaders.
    there is still a lot that can be reduced if anyone so desires
    under "Effect Shaders" in the CK you can still untick "Particle Shaders" with most of them.
    i tested shock and fire spells with Particle Shaders off (editing this esp), the difference is only a flashing effect on surroundings when casting.
    so if your like me with a TON of followers with a zillion spells, it may save a freeze up when they all let loose at once in a dungeon

    thanks

    I thought it was a spell that would strip my clothes off.
    Great contribution though.

    @zajo65

    Interesting question Zajo. I will look into it, though I do not have a clue where you alter the particle effects or their properties.

    I like the idea for this mod. Though spell effects do not slow down my machine too much, sometimes particle effects indoors do.

    I know that I can adjust iMaxDesired=x under [Particles] in the ini but that also effects the amount of flames that come off of flames.

    I guess what I am asking is if you have any idea about a mod that would improve my fps drops which I experience when I am in an areas with alot of particle effects?

    Also just to point it out, I have not problem with weather at all. Weather can be super intense and there is no problem.

    I don't have any mods that change spell effects but I have mods that add new spells to the game. Will I be able to use this mod?

    This is just what I needed. After the update 4 a bunch of different spells would lag my comp.
    thanks so much, keep up the good work

    This is a good idea and I'm sure it will help some users. However, I was expecting else given the title of the mod.

    Thanks for your work.
