Ok, I did come back to Skyrim a while ago and tried to use this for the first time mod, but I'm unable to interact with the board that lets you hire people. It tells me to press E to interact, but nothing happens, when I do. I tried a bunch of boards, but none of them works. Any idea, as to why that may be the case?

Hi! Awesome mod! I can't see me playing without it anymore!

Are you going to port it to SE?

    Thanks again for making this.

I'm working on a Skyrim SE version of Powered Power Armor right now, but after that I'm planning to port an update of this into SE.

My game crashes every time I try to hire a laborer. Not sure why, it was working fine the other day and in previous playthroughs it was working perfectly. I don't think I changed anything else since yesterday, so I'm stumped! As far as I can tell, it's only when I hire laborers. I hired a guide with no issues.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: Crashes when I hire healers, too, but I can hire mercenaries with no issues. I'm so confused xD

Are the adventurers you hire randomly generated and could they be killed, necessitating that you hire more?

I finally gave this a try and now I don't think I can ever play again without it. Adventurers Inc. is a hidden gem, sir. Maybe the word beta in the latest version number scares people off?

One question: the balance dialogue includes the stat "weekly merchant gold" - is that an estimate based on recent activity or ... what is that? The number is quite a bit higher than what I'm actually making.

Thank you Imp for a fantastic mod I can't live without!

(This mod is a really great pairing with Legacy of the Dragonborn for gameplay focused on exploration, collection and kingdom/business-building.)

Great mod! Very good concept and interesting addition to the game!

I like to ask a few questions on how does it work thou:

1 - Is there a way for the employees to be paid automatically through some chest with money? Where do i deposit this money (in which chest)?

2 - What is the use of having more than one of each type of employee?

3 - Do i have to use the scavenging in each cell of a multi-cell dungeon?

4 - The special contracts (like Vex) is payed each week or only once? And do i need to have Vex hired to the laborers to unlock chests or i just need to hire her once and my laborers will be able to open them by themselves even if i fire her after it?

    Thanks in advance!

1 - They are paid automatically each week, from the company bank account. You can deposit funds there via the Boards of Zenithar. Proceeds from the salable goods chest also add to that account.

2 - There are various benefits. Laborers get tired, so having multiple laborers means always having one on hand when you want to scavenge a dungeon, plus some construction projects require multiple laborers. Multiple healers gives a higher chance of healing injured workers each day. Multiple merchants means more items can be sold each day. Multiple tour guides means more tours per day.

      3 - Yes

4 - They are paid only once. Pay Vex's fee once, and the laborers will loot from locked chests.

      Thanks for the answers!

I'm having some problems with training the employees. They don't seem to gain skill points anymore. Is there a maximum number of them that i can have? When i had only Riverwood, Whiterun, Riften and Solitude ones, they were training. As soon as i get the others i see that none of them receive skill increase anymore, not by training nor by passing days or working normally.

It should continue to progress up to 100. Have you noticed anything else hanging up?

I think i get what was wrong. When you put money on the "Saleables" it start to be consumed even when you are looking at the stash (the numbers was going down). This consumption doesn't pay the wages properly and with money in this stash the " Deposit" option won't show up to pay the wages. So, the employess stop leveling but you can still use their work (at least laborers and mercenaries, i dunno about the others). To stop this problem, the money to pay for the wages has to come from merchant sales.

This happened in a second game i started and when the option to pay for the wages showed up after i retriving all things in "Salleables", i was already in debt for 6 days. That's how i figured this. The problem in the first try i think it was because too much time passed, so i couldn't fix the problem by retrieving all things in "Saleable" to the " Deposit" option could show.
