I have a question about Zenithars blessing: about the mace dmg buff does just visiting a jail NOT actually being thrown into jail count as losing the buff (if does that’s just silly!) also you did not remove that rule about zenithars rules if having divine immunity?? Or is there some other reason I am not getting that mace buff?? I specifcly am using maces for that bufff but I don’t see that buff anywhere...

I have an issue with Fornsworn Conspiracy quest and this mod not working together. When I falsely get thrown into prison I get Delinquent status. I'm bloody innocent vigilante trying to clean Markarth of its corruption, and Julianos the God of Law abandons me for been thrown into Cidhna Mines by the corrupt guards!?!
Is there a console command or something to give my character Innocent status again that would NOT involve Painful Regrets? Or is there someway to do this quest without getting Delinquent status? I literally cannot do one of the vanilla quests that a worshiper of Julianos would do..

When you do the forswan quest, vanilla skyrim automatically puts a bounty of i think 3000 gold on you. Therefore you are according to the rules not innocent anymore.
While I know this is a hasle and not fair I am reluctant to mess with vanilla quests, also for compatibility reasons.

      To the solution:
you can clear your bounty with console commands. a quick google search should lead you to a command. just make sure you also reset your maximum lifetime bounty and # number times jailed variable.

I love it. I mean, my inner OCD gets triggered every time i open enter the restoration perk tree because my camera likes to focus on painful regrets instead of restoration novice, but thats a small price to pay for being able to do a holy run. Thanks!
I also feel that Notorious and deliquient should use the Illusiondark inventory icon while the others could use the illusionlight inventory to add more clairity from a mouse drag whether or not your allowed buffs. But honestly, these are minuscule nitpicks. The mod itself is great and works nicely with the lore. Good way of balancing them out.

Hey, I really like the idea of the mod as I found the divines in BTC a bit.... uptight about everything, I just had one question. Is there a way to exclude Dawnbreaker from the banned artifact list, as it really is the most effective undead slayer/ paladin weapon as well as fitting thematically. Thanks for your time.

you can use dawnbreaker when taking the second perk. but Requiem immersion dictates that this comes at a price :)

you can easily tweak the mod for yourself to exclude dawnbreaker. you have to find the perk that i added in Tes5Edit and go through the condition list. somewhere there is an entry about dawnbreaker or two. Just delete this condition(s).

      Thanks a lot!

Hey there, I was adapting this to Ultimate Skyrim, which merges Behind the Curtain instead of using the regular BTC plugin, and ran into the "multiple blessings" issue, which I've managed to fix.

The problem was that the AltarPurgeSpell, which removes existing blessings and magic effects before applying new ones, retained the old Requiem/BTC conditions that prevented it from triggering when any crimes were committed. This would cause the Shrine activator to try to apply the purge spell, fail, and proceed to apply the new blessing anyway if the Merciful Divines conditions were met.

So, in order to fix this issue, you only need to modify the AltarPurgeSpell to check for only one condition: that the player has the MD_DivineFavored perk.

EDIT: It seems that Julianos' blessings is missing any checks for the Favored perk, so the blessing works regardless of your status with the Divines. Also, Zenithar's has a few conditions where the effect applies only if the player doesn't have Favored perk while others are set correctly.

thanks for making this. have you considered making a mod for BtC that lets you regain the favor of the divines by donating to the priests?

You can always add extra buy/sell penalties and think that those go to the Church. Think of it as an alimony of sorts (this was actually a thing in the Christian church)

    Hi,

Very good mod, thanks for making it.

I did find a bug with the Blessing of Zenithar. Well, two bugs actually.

    1. For the +250hp bonus (610+ armors crafted), the comparison that checks that the player has the "Favored by the Divines" perk has its value set to 0 rather than 1, making it so that you can only get the bonus if you are *not* favored by the divines. So if a player is at 609 armors crafted, they will have the +200hp bonus, and crafting one more armor piece will cause them to lose the hp bonus altogether.

    2. Again for the +250hp bonus, there is no comparison to check for >610 armors crafted. Meaning that once the first bug is fixed, the +250hp bonus is always active.

Since I'm only interested in Zenithar I didn't look to see if either of these bugs are present with any of the other divine blessings, but it might be worth checking that.

Thanks again for making this mod and taking the time to read my post.

    tankes for a great mod!
    have a question:
is it ok that training gives no skill points? i mean first two trainings (2/5) others up my skills normally.
also i found that you can have two blessings (or maybe more): talos and any another if you get talos blessing last and seems its only talos problem.
    sorry for poor english #11#

this is a requiem bug (probably caused in combination with some other mod). I experience it on every playthough even without Behind the curtains.

A happy misfortune lead me to using a shrine other than Akatosh (I'm still early in the game so I need the stamina desperately), and now I have both the Akatosh and Talos blessing. Before I got either of the divine leniency perks, the blessings were replacing each other normally.

I'm going to try roleplaying an avatar of the gods as a replacement for my usual werewolf style to see how it turns out, but I'm thinking it's a bug.

Edit: It seems to be an isolated bug, as I went to the shrine of the divines to load up on blessings, and they replace each other like they're supposed to. I guess there was either a problem with using the talos shrine itself, or using it to clear a disease, or something specific to brain rot.

thanks for this information. I will look into it again.

I have experienced it myself and i am looking for the root of the cause. the way blessings work technically:
Clicking Shrine --> add spell script
Spell --> has multiple magic effects
      Magic Effects have conditions

I only changed the magic effect conditions and did nothing with the spell itself. So i assume the issue lies with Requiem - Behind the Curtain but I could be wrong. I am just a greenhorn in skyrim modding so any help would be appriciated if someone sees this and has more knowledge about it

I discovered this as well. It happened for me that I had a daedric weapon in my possession when I tried to pray at a new shrine. When I removed the daedric weapon from my inventory both my old and new blessings were there.
