Please remember that Skyrim followers system doesn't exist in Enderal.
Do not attempt to use vanilla Skyrim quick commands for followers on Marcus! (wait here, pick up items, use objects etc)!
Using non-supported scripted commands will break Marcus quest. If you accidentally entered quick command state - just press Tab and exit it. If you broke Marcus quest and he is not following you - exit the game and load previous save.
When you tell him to follow, summon, dismiss or you simply enter/exit cells give a second for his script to kick in.

Enderal's bugged Frost Cloak spell is finally fixed! Marcus and other neutral NPC won't attack you anymore. Only hostiles will be affected by the spell (Winter Skin Rank I).
Thanks to my wonderful husband (who doesn't even play Skyrim) for fixing this bug!
FUTURE UPDATES: I'm working on an update. I'm adapting and testing an independent followers framework and (fingers crossed) in the future Marcus will have full follower functionality, will wait, relax (sandbox and use idle markers) and do whatever you want him to do. :)

darn, was really excited when i found this mod, but unfortunately it doesn't work with VR Enderal which seems to be closer to enderal/skyrim SE and will likely need a SE conversion to work >_<
I wonder if he can be converted to SE version, I really want to have him as a follower again, but since I bought the special edition I sadly found out that I can't, and I don't know how to make it possible.
I'm not sure that it does for Forgotten Stories SE... I stuck his ESP and BSA in both Enderal and Skyrim Data folders and I can't even get to the main screen... maybe I didn't install it correctly... lol I've been at it for hours... wait is it a 'steam' thing?
This mod is buggy and not optimized for Enderal. You can go into houses with him, but he doesn't come back. And so three times. In the call menu (Q key), you cannot assign a call to Markus. Another slapdash mod
You do realize that a lot of people were playing with Marcus just fine for 4 years. 4 years. The mod is working even in Forgotten Realms even though Marcus was created before FR release. So if it's not working for you, please read the description, follow the mod's instructions and it should work.
A possible second solution to the "He's OP!" problem - Ashien's Cursed Rings mod for Skyrim LE. You can use the SKSE version for Enderal since it includes SKSE, you'll just have to console in the rings (just type "help 'cursed ring'" to get all the IDs). It's a great, simple fix for any OP follower problem including in vanilla Skyrim.
A male follower who is total hunk, is polite, says cute little soft words to me and supports me by being the tank while I'm the sneak mage? SOLD. Sorry, Jespar, but I want a strong, stable not!hubby.

SOLVED! (Yay!). Turns out a different mod was preventing game launching. Got Marchus loaded in and launched. XD.
