Have you used any of the patches available for Purity? I'm thinking of making a switch from VW to Purity because of the performance concern, but I'm not sure if the newest Purity needs any patch for like AoS2.

Apologies for the late response.. Potato became fried potato and browsing nexus via mobile is hardly sufficient.

The only patch for Purity that I used are for True Storm.. and its personally updated by myself so I dunno if there are any other patch available nor do I know required..

Thank you for replying. I have actually moved on to use Pure Weather instead cos of the patch and the way it looks which is also nice compared to Purity. I then added RLO dungeon ,URWL, Relighting Skyrim, and Ele lite il and tweaked some of their values using TES5Edit to make them work together. And I'm quite satisfied with the result now.

The preset looks good in my game but I have one problem. When an NPC is directly in front and close to my character, they are very blurry. Have you any idea why that is the case. Otherwise looks great.

I checked again it's not directly in front, it seems to be slightly off centre. Obviously not happening for anyone else. I have no clue. Thanks for reply.

I've been scared to mess around with graphics too much. I do have a new PC and can run at 60 FPS, but only at 720p and with shadows (mostly) disabled I'm also recording for youtube and have to be careful of FPS drops. I seem to be able to run Reshade ok with Dark Souls 2 though.

    1. So is this an alternative to Reshade/SweetFX or do you use both? I was browsing your mods and noticed you have some presets.
    2. The sunrays look cool, those aren't actually required with your presets?
    3. I've been using Ultra Realistic World Lighting because it (supposedly) doesn't affect performance and I also love the colorful look - blue ice <3
But I was reading your description and I wasn't sure if that would be bad for your preset. The problem with URWL is it's only outdoor lighting.
    4. Also, this doesn't really have anything to do with your preset, but I tried low res textures on my old PC and they didn't really improve FPS. I really never found an answer about why.

    My specs are
    Xeon x5680
    Quadro 4000
I did some benchmarks and this scored worse than a 2013 gaming laptop (~1500 with Firestrike iirc). It's still a huge improvement over my old PC

      1. I've used Reshade/ENB in combination with SKGE before.. but I dropped them in favor of full SKGE only. I got roughly 7 fps drop with enb 308 and around 4-6 fps with reshade. Considering I maxxed out around 40 fps .. those drop are massive.
      2. Sunrays are built in for SKGE (but only early morning and at evening).. theres a bug with the SKGE ingame value for godrays.. the enabled value are flipped .. 0 = enabled, and 1 = disabled.
      3. It should be much bluer with this preset
      4. Not that technical savvy but it will really help when theres a bunch of textures to render. Try custom house mod that go overboard with decoration and you should notice them.

I bought this computer in 2012 and it wasnt the best one at that time

Does it look like vanilla? No? Then its not from VRT.

A lot of those wood beams are tho.. and doors.. I just dont stare at them too much in game.

Those textures... shame on you! shame, shame, shame! But nice work on the SKGE preset. Are you gonna keep updating it?

Depends lol.. if theres enough demand.

This also a prove that sweetfx are redundant with a good SKGE preset.

      Thanks a lot!!!
I was trying to make something similar: you spared me a lot of troubles!!!

But I keep asking myself what I'll miss if I use this Kind of set instead an Enb (currently I'm using soul Enb) but it's the same with all Enb I guess

Theres definitely a tradeoff for all those fps gain.. the ELEP enb I linked in description should cover some of those for little fps taxes. However, if you capable of running a fully fledge ENB at a comfortable fps, theres actually little gain by using SKGE.
