loved this mod, but is there any plans to patch the shout so that the ¨dragonborn¨ enhancement work with all the 3 words? those lottle drakes of fire are really cool and i would love if i could use them even though i used all 3 words
I was able to get it to work using the steps at the wiki site. I need to figure out how repacking works but I could post an SE version with Wabafloo's permission.
Do you have any recommended mods that boost the dragon versions of these shouts? I use Ordinator which adds some perks to strengthen player shouts, and (if I understand correctly what this mod does) I would need to pair this with a mod that strengthens the *dragon* versions of the shouts to keep the 2nd and 3rd words scaled with the 1st words.
This is a very cool mod! Can you make a version with more damage to balance it out with higher difficulties I pretty much like to play on Legendary difficulties alongside with some combat overhaul mods. this shout mod is pretty cool but it also becomes useless on higher difficulties especially on higher levels.
I'm very interested in this mod as I use the dragonfire mod. But I found dragonfire would inflict scary damage especially on 3rd word. Which meant draugr were occasionally just stupid op. Does this mod balance the damage a bit better? Or should I still be scared of a frost breath' s continuous damage doing 3x my health even after interrupting the breath? I suppose I will find out before you reply. But I would appreciate the damag scaling comparison for the various mods in the main description. Cause DragonFire kinda nukes everyone.
I know this is as inconvenient as it might sound, but I wanted to keep this mod as lightweight as possible and as compatible as it could get with other mods. I guess it's just my opinion, but I considered that if you wanted to roflstomp enemies with OP dragon shouts, having dragons and high levelled draugrs be as OP as you would be a fair price to pay in exchange for compatibility, lol.
If I remember correctly, when I degutted DragonFire I found out that it uses the STRONGEST version of the dragon shouts for the third word, so draugrs are basically shooting you at ancient dragon level, those bastards. I remember the first time I found a draugr scourge after installing this mod. I got rekt so hard I couldn't stop laughing for ten minutes.
To answer more specifically, my mod is *a bit* more balanced, but it doesn't scale with level still. I simply used a weaker version of the dragon shouts that are present in the vanilla game, because I considered that even though you're the hero, it'd be disrespectful to be able to breathe fire harder than a trv dragon.
Still, I advise against allowing draugrs to shout at you.
The first words of my mod's shouts use the vanilla effect for the second word of the *player* version of the shouts. My mod basically gives you the second vanilla fire and ice breath words by default. This is to ensure compatibility with some quests, as explained in the description. The second and third words use the vanilla effects for the *dragon* version of the shouts.
As I said in the description, any mod that affects the *player* shouts will only affect the first words of the shouts. If you wanted to make the second/third words stronger... You'd have to use mods that enhance the damage done by *dragon* shouts. And it would have the side-effect of actually having them hitting you harder, of course.
So what's happening in your game is simply that you've gotten the vanilla shouts already stronger than what a dragon usually is able to shout at you.
I could do this, but to do so, I'd have to duplicate the original Fire and Ice Breath Shouts and substitute the original ones for mine on the player. That would make it much more difficult to keep compatible with anything, including any instance in the vanilla game that checks for those shouts. It would also require some scripting for installation/uninstallation purposes.
At this moment I'm recovering from a surgery I had last week, so I'm not in too much good shape to be working on the computer for long periods of time. I will take a look at this and try to come up with a method that doesn't mess too much with compatibility on next week once I'm a bit better.
Would you need to duplicate the shouts? It looks like shouts are based on spells, could you duplicate the dragon's default thing and add some conditions to make the stream only happen if the caster is the player, and otherwise do the normal one? Is that doable?
Also, does this have the dragon sound, so you actually roar while breathing fire and ice?
I hope you've gotten better. No idea what the surgery was, so I don't know how concerned I should be. (For all I know, you had a tooth pulled or something.)
I'd be cool to have a version where these shouts replace the shouts added by More Draconic Dragon Aspect while using Dragon Aspect instead of replacing the base shouts. I'd do this myself, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

Update: There's this mod for SE.
Load order doesn't matter because my mod doesn't directly modify the dragon shout records.

I have some mods that alter the magnitude of the shout (SkyTweak & Ordinator)
