Sorry, I didn't catch this comment on account of how short it is, and its resemblance to a jagged piece of broken code.

Ahaha, and here I am, viewing the Comments section simply because I wanted to say that the mod's description made my day! :)
I definitely will try this mod in the future (maybe in the nearest future, too).
Thank you for it! Cuz the vanilla altered flesh spells were pretty useless (apart from leveling Alteration, just like you said).

Great mod. Armor ratings are bit high but you adressed that in the description. But you reaally should update this mod and reduce the armor ratings by like 20-25% and make "Armor Rating Rescaled" a recommended mod.

Although I really liked what you did with Dragonhide, I fear it might fall victim to the ability condition bug (not that I know this stuff). Also in the UESP I think it says Dragonhide stacks with Armor Rating if you have the armor before you cast it and don't alter your equipment, I don't think that will affect your version though. Again great mod.

A fine mod. Double armor rating is unnecessary though. With necromage vampire , dragon aspect ,ebonyflesh and lord stone , a mage can easily reach an armor rating around 575, which is above the damage reduction cap.

Hey Narvil, thank you for this wonderful mod! Thanks to you I can play as a viable mage in my very chaotic and dangerous modded Skyrim! I do have 1 question though. If i activate the Dragonhide constant ability, will there be any way for me to turn it off (or toggle it off) again? I ask because i would never be able to benefit from regular armor again if I chose to change my character build mid-game. It seems from the description that i would be stuck with a permanent invisible armor cap. If so I will probably just stick with Ebony flesh as I did in the vanilla game. But damn it would be nice to have Dragonhide actually be viable:). Thank you for your work.

Neat mod, but before I give it my endorsement, I'm not sure if making dragonhide an active effect is a very good idea if it can stack with other damage reducers. Can it?

The way dragonhide works natively is that it overides your armor rating (sets it to zero regardless of what armor you are wearing) and replaces it with a flat 80 percent damage reduction. I did nothing to alter that mechanic. Should stack fine with block. But given some of what I have read on UESP, if you have an armor rating substantially above the cap, dragonhide might actually reduce your DR, since there's some reason to think the cap is soft. The numbers people were using to get what appeared to be physical immunity were quite enormous though (basically billion point armor ratings), so unless you've got some cheesy mods or are using resto exploits (basically, as long as your armor rating a high 3 or low 4 digit number) dragonhide probably isn't taking anything from you.
