    Works in first person.

Incompatible with any mods that change movement speed based on certain conditions.

I DO NOT ADD NEW ANIMATIONS.
I DO NOT HAVE ANY (INFINITE) LOOPS IN THE CODE, STOP SPREADING RUMORS.
YES, COBB'S ENCUMBERANCE AND DISPARITY ARE INCOMPATIBLE.

Edited the description, prettier and better.

It's not compatible with Frostfall? Why?

frostfall has a -30% speed penalty when in a blizzard. This movement mod is not compatible with anything that changes the player speed multiplier due to certain conditions

This looks amazing. Do you plan to bring it to Skyrim SE?

Is there a way to make the minimum steps to get max speed be 0? In the MCM it only goes to 1 so it still takes time to hit max speed.

Also 0 seconds to full flat stop rather than the current minimum of 0.1

You want to disable the mod?

I get the idea, but it seems like a simulation for a vehicle; i.e. something without muscles. I'm pretty sure I can get up to full speed in a blink of an eye, whether it's back-peddling, side-stepping, or sprinting. Of course there's some "wind-up," however.

Try it in a suit of Daedric armor or when carrying enough swords for a small army. When you're a master thief in Thieve's Guild armor and you just dropped everything off, sure you're nimble. And there's settings to change all that.

Nobody can get up to full speed in the blink of an eye, not even a car. Go outside and start sprinting- You don`t do it in the blink of an eye. Neither do you stop in the blink of an eye. And of course, put on a backpack with a brick in it and you`ll see the effects even moreso.

Does this mod affect humanoid npcs? I don't actually care if it does or not lol I'm just asking out of curiosity. If it did affect humanoid npcs I'd be blown away because I feel like that would be impossible.

EDIT: how well does this mod work with combat btw? Since in combat you are constantly moving back and forth and stopping in short bursts, would you be essentially stuck moving slowly the entire fight?

Does anyone know how this mod works on SSE? does this mod REQUIRE skyui or skse?? I hear any mod that uses either of those wont translate to SSE.

It doesn't work on SSE, it needs SKSE at least.

I have two suggestions, for one, the mod should have a disable option in the mod menu, so that it's easier to disable and reenable between characters, or to complete certain tasks. Secondly, I noticed that it's very easy to turn around 180 degrees, even when at full speed, simply by moving your mouse. A possible feature to counteract that could be to reduce mouse sensetivity the faster you're moving, similarly to how I think that mod that makes you commit to your atttacks does.

So, I really love this, but was having some weird issues where my character would not stop running, in whatever direction I was going (left, right, straight, back). It wasn't happening constantly the first few times, and then became increasingly worst until every time I moved in a certain direction, my character wouldn't stop moving, no matter me changing directions, pressing ESC, tab, nothing would stop her. The worst was when I was in a shop, and knocked everything over, citizens yelling at me, running into walls and s#*! (was actually pretty hilarious). I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem. Maybe it's an incompatibility.

edit: I'm also pretty sure I don't have anything (else) affecting my movement speed... I did a while back, but can't find it in MO, and uninstalled everything previously.

You know, it would actually be nice if there was an awesome mod like this for jumping from higher places, that makes you bend your knees when landing, for a more realistic feel

This is what I use. I feel like it's the most realistic landing animation that I've seen so far. Pretty Jump Animations:

      thanks

EDIT: the reason why I want what I mentioned the most is because the character's animations are the same no matter which height they fall down from. sometimes you barely survive quite a high jump/fall, but the knees barely bend

Hope I was able to help. I like this mod because it minimizes the arm flapping.
