Probably won't surprise you to know it's already been done :

That one lets you make 25 lockpicks per ingot, and lets you make pickaxes and wood axes (and also gives them appropriate damage levels instead of being feeble).
thats why i never used that mod, because it was overpowered.
i like scarcity mods. i use the x10 merchant and loot tables so its hard to maintain a pool of lockpicks, so this mod is perfect for avoiding immersion breakage.

I didn't want any of that extra stuff, just one balanced recipe for lockpicks. It's most likely been done before ye, but I think this is fair considering you'd have to waste metal to make something so small anyway c:
Fair enough, I wasn't criticising, just recommending the one I use. I know some people would prefer more scarcity for things like that (I use one that removes most of the free food and drink for the same reason). I do like picks and axes being usable as actual weapons though, since an axe through the head should do more than tickle...
been around a while, seen all of those mods, never downloaded any of them...including, no offense, any of yours. But, seriously, "50 mods"? let me know someone who has a mod with a lockpick mod with an MCM option to tweak the number of picks per ingot and you the man.
