Sorry if I overlooked something, but how can I learn to "+% destruction damage" effect to enchant gear? Where do I get it from. I noticed the author mentioned something about scripts, but it got me even more confused.

    Thanks!

You can purchase items with that enchantment at Radiant Raiment or any Blacksmith shop (but there's a higher chance with Radiant Raiment).

The enchantment item has the same name with Fortify Destruction (reduce magicka enchantment) items, so you have to pay attention to the description.

Hi, I got this mod just recently for my character so I could be able to be a sneaky mage and have the destruction spells have a sneak damage bonus. But when I try using the spells on them when I'm sneaking and don't detect me, it doesn't give me the bonus. Do I need to have this mod in a certain place in my load order or do I need to start a whole new game for it to work? or what am I doing wrong?

Did you have the Silent Casting perk on the Illusion tree? Because they'd probably be Alerted (half-open eye icon) and the sneak bonus won't be triggered.

Working very good on my side. Sneak bonus doesn't work each time but that's probably because I don't have the illusion silent perk. When I launch a fireball at a big distance, it works, but not when I'm close. Sneak effect with thunder spells work even when you are close since they are instant.

Anyway, really useful. I play in legendary difficulty with a thief mage and I often get oneshoted if I'm not careful. Most of the dragons can oneshot me in melee. So this mod brings a big boost to me. Still balanced since you theorically don't have unlimited magic and so have downtimes - except if you have a build based on low magic cost. Thank you ! Endorsed.

    Thanks for making this mod

Does the damage scaling apply to NPCs, or only to the player character?  Thank you

Hello. It's a shame that this mod isn't more popular. I suppose there are enough spell scaling mods out there that this one was overlooked.

In case you're interested, I've created an add-on for your mod that should apply scaling to the undead-re-deadening Restoration spells from the Dawnguard DLC. For my own use, mostly, but I could release it if there aren't any objections.

Sure, though I do plan to build it in once I re-release this for SE.

Thanks for making this mod and keeping the changes relatively simple!

Will this be compatible with Elemental Destruction (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69474/), and if not, do you think you will patch it/make the minor level spells for it?

"For the versions of the mod that don't contain new perks for the new spells, you can increase their power through the vanilla perks. Earth, water, and wind spells benefit from the Augmented Flames, Augmented Frost, and Augmented Shock perks respectively."

It sounds like there might be a version of the mod that attaches the relevant keywords, and if so, that version would be compatible. For the version that has new perks for augmenting the new spells, their keywords would need to be added via a patch. I'll take a look but my development computer is updating.

I had a look at it in TES5Edit and the vanilla version and Dragonborn version are compatible. The perk version is not. If it gets re-released for Special Edition, I might make the new Inferno level destruction spells in a patch.

If I am reading the description page correctly this should work with modded spells as well as Vanilla since it makes changes to the Destruction skill and not the spells?

Correct. The only spell that gets altered directly is Equilibrium.

Thanks for the clarification. This should make a Destruction mage playable at high levels finally.

Though I should clarify, the spells need to have the flame, frost, or lightning keyword used for the augmentation perks. I would imagine most do, since those perks are normally the only way to boost damage at higher levels.

Ah, a new mod by Imp of the Perverse. Very good. Question: How does the mod handle skill uncappers? If I were using, say, the Community Uncapper, would destruction magic do 299% damage at Destruction 199, or would it be capped to 200% damage regardless?

It should continue increasing up past 100 skill, so 299%, assuming the "mod spell magnitude" perk entry doesn't cap it.
