I was looking for something that made trolls a bit more tough but i dont think going for more health is the answer since in the lore they regen all the time if not under fire magic so maybe a HUGE boost to regen like requiem???

Hey there, I don't know if you are looking for Mod Requests, (I wouldn't blame you if you didn't) but this mod proves that you have what it takes to make something that is related to this.

I've always liked the Dawnguard Armored Frost Trolls, but I've also... Not been a Fan of how they run away after dismissal. The idea is:

Once you buy an Armored Troll, or armored Frost Troll, it is yours for life. In otherwords, instead of completely vanishing when told "Troll, Get Lost!" they simply return to Fort Dawnguard and wait for you to get back. Then all you'd have to do is say "Troll, Follow Me!" and he would once again follow me.

I hope this is of some value to you, and if it isn't, I'd understand. But perhaps it's something that may put your name out there for people to see. Win-win, right? Anyways, Thanks for the Mod that you have already done here, and I hope to download some more!

I'm not sure if this is within your modding skills or the scope of this mod, but what I would really like to see is a more intelligent troll AI. It doesn't make any sense that a troll would trigger silly animations in the middle of battle and while you are engaged in close combat with them (like the animation shown on the image of this mod and the other one where he jumps up and down like a chimp).

Removing those would considerably increase the difficulty of fighting trolls.

I agree about the animations. I don't have this issue much anymore but I remember it being really stupid in vanilla Skyrim. This may be fixed by some of the mods in my load order, however. I have several mods installed which alter combat AI of nearly every NPC in the game. You might try out some mods like "Revenge of the Enemies" or "Wildcat Combat of Skyrim" to fix this issue, but if you're not satisfied, keep me updated and I'll continue to tweak trolls and their combat AI to the best of my ability. Thanks for reaching out.

Yeah, I was thinking the exact same thing as Avastgard said while reading the description. I sure would love to see Skyrim critters with AI comparable to DDO critters. Bethesda always skimps on bad guy AI.
Umm... Velexia did some messing about with critter AI to a good degree of success. Spiders patrol the roads like guards should, and animals don't just blindly attack on sight. Wounded opponents will flee. Maybe swapping out or modifying behaviors of the trolls would give a more challenging experience?

Likewise. That little tantrum they throw in anger leaves them very open to attacks of all kinds. It'd be better if they did that animation just as they "give up" looking for you (the same trigger that NPCs use when they say "must be my imagination" ) .

I think it fits pretty well, but maybe if they get stat boosts and I-frames when they do it (maybe something short so you know to get out of the way).

the first time i play skyrim a giant kills me with one blow then the second time was a troll he hit me to many times and then i die so is normal that the trolls are weak because you are leveling up and the trolls are weak when you use fire on them. the normal behaviour of the trolls on combat is throwing 3 to 4 blow in the row one after other and then you can hit them. now if your character is too strong or you hit the trolls with fire magic or enchanting weapon they will die without throwing that blow. now you can install mod to make your enemies strongest but that will not work because you character is too strong remember you have armor and weapons. the armor will protect you from the hits and the weapon will kill your enemies now your character have heallth number the bigger the number the better is your health. for example i have two character one have low health number the other have high health number.

the first one i need to have careful because the enemies can kill me the second one i not need to worry because i have the best health. now the first one use magic so i put more numbers there in magic, the second one use a sword so i put the numbers there in health and my level in both character is over 60 now to have better experience in the game use balance numbers or put more numbers on the others Stamina, Magic and less number on health.

remember to many mods in your game can cause bugs, lags and scripts problems. so use the game system in your favor.
