There is an Apocalypse - Requiem patch put out by the author of Apocalypse, EnaiSiaion. It is on the main Apocalypse page, and is dated 3 June 2017. I'm guessing that is the better and newer patch for Requiem.
This patch doesn't increase the cost of tomes at all so spells are too cheap compared to Requiem.
The patch at Apocalypse isn't done by EnaiSaion and it's prices are too high. It just multiplies the cost by 10 across the board, while requiem spells cost only 2-3 times of vanilla spells. There are rare cases where they cost 10 times as much, but that's only if the Requiem spell is much stronger and a higher level, like with Flame Atronach. Since it's newer it's still the better one of the two.
I recall from a thread in r/SkyrimRequiem that Enai himself was going to make the patch for modern Apocalypse and Requiem. It'd be good to get a list of changes to know what exactly you're doing with this.
I looked into this patch and it seems to be based on an old version of the Apocalypse Requiem patch. It does what is advertised (including conjuration and illusion) and is quite in depth, slightly more so than the old Apocalypse patch. There are however a few issues:
- The patch does not actually rebalance many spells, so their cost and effect is out of line. It just makes them work and blend in.
- Several updated spells in 9.00 were missed. For instance, Ruin was updated from a stacking -4 skill levels to a non-stacking -15 skill levels, but this patch reverts the spell to -4 without allowing it to stack, making the spell completely useless; it reverts Raise Wall to a 2 second cast; and reverts the 9.12 bugfix that prevents Illusory Flames from stacking. (It does not include any of the 9.12 changes, so this part of the description is incorrect.) It also reverts Locate Object to Find Ore altogether, except for the name, and misses most of the inventory pictures that were changed in 9.00.
- A few odd changes that may or may not be intentional. The patch gives Crackle a duration of 0, nerfs Necroplague into the ground, triples the damage of Meridia's Wrath (or at least attempts to, but only changes the description), and massively buffs Godform of all things (you know, the spell /r/skyrimrequiem wanted me to nerf).
- Several records that should have been modified are accidentally ITMs instead: many formlists, a few books, etc.
- Minor glitches: an unused spell that is made available in REQ_Conjuration_NoviceSpells, etc.
Personal preference: I don't think illusion spells that are not mind affecting (Counterspell) should be disallowed from working on nonliving targets. Also, I'm not sure what the benefit is of disallowing Leech Seed on undead targets (also the description is not updated to reflect this) when Decompose still works on living and undead targets.
Overall, a good first release, but does need to be updated to the actual state of things in 9.xx.
Thanks for your corrcection.I checked some issues and adjusted some places.and another small question,I found that in perk"WB_KingsHeart_Perk",you modify buy price by multiply 1.15,is it a mistake or your design purpose?
I already have apocalyspe 8.x ver and requiem patch and idk if it's worth but anyway.. is this working with apocalypse v912 (latest ver.) or only v910?
