Interesting so far. I'm trying it with a thief build, and alt start. Dropped me in Solstheim, and that was interesting.

My only comment so far is, I think you've fallen into the same trap that so many others do, by crippling recovery to the extent that you have. Unless I'm missing something, there is no way to increase the effectiveness of the player's recovery over time. This is part of what happens in life, after all. As one trains, one's stamina increases, one's recovery rate increases, and one's health gets better. It only makes sense that the same mechanic should be duplicated where possible in a mod like this. Otherwise, the player ends up just gaming the system by figuring out a workaround. Playing this with a needs mod like RND makes pounding food for recovery impossible.

As far as I can tell, SSO plays well enough with Ordinator. Unless I wasn't supposed to start at 0 on all perks :-). I'm also sporting a few other infrastructure mods like CCOR, WAFR, Trade and Barter, and Campfire. Everything else I'm using should have no effect on SSO. I haven't made a bashed patch yet.

I'll give it some more time, but don't think I'll make this a long term save, because of the issues with RND. However, I'm open to suggestions...

Okay, I'll add RND to the things it doesn't work with. As for the "lack" of recovery increases, I have three things to say.

      1. Alchemy, enchanting and restoration are all ways to increase your recovery.

      2. Every time you increase your maximum health/magicka/stamina, you are also increasing the rate at which it regenerates, as regeneration is directly scaled to maximum health/magicka/stamina.

      3. I was already planning on changing the restoration perk "Recovery" so it increases all regeneration, not just magicka. I have just been stuck pulling WAY too much overtime to get around to version 1.1 lately.

Thanks for the reply. I realized that my words might have sounded harsh. Didn't mean to. Thanks for making things clearer, and for the suggestions.

I didn't take offence, you don't need to apologize.

Version 1.1 is being uploaded now. It enhances the Recovery perk, so you can boost natural regeneration. The update also replaces the "power shot" perk that staggered enemies with arrows (which is bullshit, arrows do NOT have enough momentum, they're barely better than bullets for pushing things around) with the "penetrating shot" perk that bypasses half of enemy armour.

Unfortunately I have shitternet, as provided by Fronteir, the world's worst internet service non-provider. So hours of uploading amounted to nothing in an instant.

Looks interesting and I like most of the changes you thought up. I am in the middle of a playthrough so i will track for now but definitely on my radar now. Btw, even generic pictures will go a long way in gathering attention for your mod as some idiots won't check unless it has a picture. Dumb, I know.

    Cheers

I have very little free time nowadays, so it is hard for me to take time to take pictures. So how about, instead, I make the gallery open for everybody to show off their characters they are playing in this mod?
