great idea and I will track for now, anyway you might make it 2 or even 3 guards (8 hour shifts) and that they randomly wander around the house like a patrol? I don't mind the stand-in-one-spot or even that stop at where he slays the bad guy, just it makes more sense to have a roaming patrol, if possible to do. but a good start for sure , don't stop now
I like having an actual guard outside my home and having him help protect my humble abode and not just a housecarl which mostly stay inside. I forgot to mention that when the guard moves to attack an enemy he does not return to the spot he spawned at and he just stays where he sheathed his sword at.
