Hello, I'd like to potentially use these models in a mod with permission & credits, would that be okay? I would have messaged but im having some trouble accessing the forum to send the message that way.
hey nice resource but i have a bit of a problem, i can place the small one no problem but if i try and use the other 2 my render window goes black until i delete it, know any fixes, (ps im using sse) *edit* render window
This is brilliant work. I loathe the Skyrim ships, and the Cyrodillic ones from Oblivion are just as awful. What I would give for a moveable ship home based on one of these, a Carrack or something. And for Skyrim SE!
I absolutely love these ships from the photos and what I've seen in the creation kit. however i am having an issue with it showing up in game from where i placed it in the CK. I've done as you say in the readme and the boats show up in the CK without issue or saying there was an error before i did as you stated in the readme so what may I have done to mess up the files? thank you!
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE these, saw them in (i think) a Beyond Skyrim stream for Iliac Bay and wished they were a modder's resource, turns out they are and im sooo not gonna use the vanilla ships anymore for my mods.
These ships are beautiful, they're exactly what I have been looking for my screenshots. One small complaint I have however is that the textures are too clean, they make the ships feel more like they're brand new from the shipyards and not ones that have seen their fair share of trips at sea.
A request would simply be optional textures where the wood is a little more worn and the hull has clear wear with seaweed and barnacles clinging to them, for a more natural and realistic feel. Other than that, amazing job, good luck on future ships matey! :D
Hi there! Beautiful resource! I'm very eager to use it.
However, I'm having a bit of trouble getting the meshes to work with me in the creation kit. All I get are red diamonds with exclamation points where the ship should be whenever I try to place it. Any ideas on how to go about fixing this would be extremely helpful! I'm at my wit's end here. Am I doing something wrong? I'd like to use this in making my mod, but I can't seem to figure it out.
I know this is a old comment but if anyone else has this problem:
1. restart CK. if you add a mesh during editing it does that. 2. you haven't added the mesh right somehow. check readme and/or reinstall textures + mesh in data 3. if you use them in a BSA configure the ini to be able to use the BSA as you would with a masterfile/DLC file
mabye this is redundant and most already know this but sometimes the problem is really simple and it helps to be reminded that, cheers!

It would have to lose the forecastle, have the deck stretched to 1.5 times its current length, and probably get a triangular sail.
