What allowed me to use DSR was a Mo 2 plugin called (MO2 Enderal Redirector) in enderal nexus.
Now if anyone can tell me if Enderal Billyro Weapon Replacement is compatible "Yes i am having a laugh" with DSR or do i have to get patches for all the separate weapon mods billyro needs XD
The weapons look so good i may have to forgo DSR XD ... then again i am using an archer
If you're getting a message that says you need to install and enable DSR redux, despite already having it enabled in your load orded don't open the patcher by right clicking and choosing to run in Java, for some reason and I have no f***ing clue why, it only works if you choose ''Run all Jar files in Java'' or whatever, and then just run it like you would any executable by double clicking it, now again, I literally haven't the faintest bloody idea why that makes a difference but it was the only way I got it to work. It took me no less than an hour to realize this, please, for the love of the nine divines if you want to keep your sanity give it a try, as for my sanity it's sadly too late, but at least the mod is now working so yeah, the lord giveth and taketh and all that bullshit.
That said, the loss of my sanity was entirely my own fault, and I have to say at least for now, despite being supposedly outdated the mod seems to be working quite well, I've yet to play with it on for long enough to say it causes no problems but nothing weird is happening so far so I'd say this mod is a success and certainly worth an endorsment, good stuff 10/10, would lose my sanity again just to get my shield on back, and I seriously mean that.
Delete Skyrim's plugins.txt and manually pick Enderal's plugins.txt.
Copy the context of Enderal's plugins.txt into Skyrim's plugins.txt.
By default the plugins.txt file is located at C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Skyrim and C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\enderal. If you are using Mod Organiser 2 you should look inside you MO2 profile folder for Enderal.
Okay now i have this thing, I click the patcher it opens, I start the patch. Everything seems fine and it adds the files etc etc.
When in game, shields go to back, but all the Enderal custom swords are not on my right hip. If i do any Vanilla sword (Exp. Iron Sword) it works fine. Am i missing the meshes then or something?
Think that this not working when steam standalone version used . have this problem to. proc need a over work to search in steams enderal dir for search the dualsheat esp

ok so I spent many hours on this and I believe I came close I have where the shield gets put under my players feet which is weird anyone know what im doing wrong??
There seems to be a problem with this mod now in the latest patch of the game, Ark guard shield now has the mesh of the starling shield when carried on the back instead of the guard shield mesh.
I'm not exactly sure what the Starling shield looks like but in my game the Ark guards have red shields with an insignia which matches there uniform. So I think its working on my end at least.
its not working everytime patching it failed, no matter how u install it manually or using installer it all the same it failed, dunno why people said its working, they didnt have the explanation for patching the skyproc, oh i ald use the dsr in vanilla game and in enderal its not working

Sorry I don't plan to work on this mod any longer - but anyone who wants to use the files and keep on updating - Please feel free to do so
