No just install the original mod then it's a key you'll have to setup in a config ini file...read the install part in description.
i don't know if you plan to use this mod but it's really outdated for quite some time now, the original author never updated it and not planing on working on it anymore apparently... maybe it's better to use Convenient Horses
i've just installed the latest SKSE version (1.05.06 / 1.5.26.dll) and all is working fine for me... i can whistle my horse like a madman without any crash...unfortunatly i don't know what else to say about what causing those annoying crashes.
have you installed the 2 files in the "skyrim" folder ? (and not in the usual "skyrim/asi/" folder for Scriptdragon's scripts)
for every people who have a problem with this mod...tell me : > your Script dragon version > your SKSE version > when does the problem come (when launching the game or you whistle or mount)
I'm actually playing with this mod, i have SkSE 1.04.14 and Script dragon 1.5.26.0...and all his working fine (even with default binding settings)
Because i'm not the original creator of this mod, i won't be able to change any code in it... but i can try to find a solution (because it's working for me and not for some poeple... maybe a conflict somewhere)
i'm using Script Dragon 1.5.26.0 and it's working great...i don't think this mod will work with any next updated version of SD (Darkende is not working on this version but will make another mod like this one).
Try to put "0" on automount...sometime it's crashing because of that (conflict between SD and the automount function)
i don't want to rename the page because i'm not the creator of the original mod...i've done just a sound replacer but the original mod's page is actually broken (Darkende is making a new version because of an HDD crashe) a lot of people were asking me to put the entire mod and i asked Darkende if i could put his mod on my page just the time for him to release the next version !

I get the critical error when i whistle.
You're version of SKSE isn't available on "http://skse.silverlock.org/" anymore so i can't even try but maybe that's where the problem come from.

I use the spawn features instead and it works fine but sadly there is no whistle) thanks for your work anyway
