      Two questions: 1) Does this work for the english version, 2) The read me says to place the .esp and the texture folder into the data folder, but I didn't see any texture folder in the download, should there be one?

      german and english version are only different with the language, the latest german version is only translated to the english.
      
      and ignore the notice with the texture, thats a note i dont delete from my other mod.
