You can use this resurrect spell to revive them sooner (Choke Out Spell), as I don't know of any other way.
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55166/?
After a few seconds they are back up, skips the resurrect/raise dead animation, but the time difference seems the same.
    I have found it useful.
It's the same as using the "resurrect" console command.

Some time back I was looking for a quiet method of knocking out enemies. I have Sneak Tools, but my problem is that when you use a mace to knock out an NPC & another NPC is sleeping 10 or so feet away, it wakes them up. I was hoping for a knock out potion that you could slip into their inventory via reverse pickpocket, put them to sleep for a couple of hours & loot their house, but no dice. While I have not tested this in that scenario, this is pretty cool! If you ever get bored & want to tackle that idea, I would love to use it. Would of course endorse.
    Thanks!

    Spoiler:
    Show
It doesn't work on undead, since they don't breath. It does slow them and prevent their power attacks, however.

Someone recently messaged me about making a spell that is specific to things with accelerated healing, if that was you, I do plan to make such a spell

Yes, it was me! woot! nice, can't wait for it! I have sent you another idea for the spell or a new one via message. Glad I could encourage you to make such a spell!

does this work on vampires? and if it does, does it kills them or just knocks them out? (hoping it can knock them out because of the accelerated healing)

If you mean the Grab effect, do you happen to have Special Edition yet?

I tested 1.2 and I think you reversed the descriptions. The non lethal version chokes them dead and the suffocation version puts them in bleedout. Someone confirm this?

I love this mod. Its very good. I am using it for my succubus. I dont think it affects vampires. Because vampires dont breathe. And Im not sure it affects dragons. And not sure it affects the undead. Ill have to test. So I gave the spell to Xana my Succubus from the Xana Succubus mod via the teach spell from EFF follower mod and she runs around choking people out. Pretty awesome to watch. But she does it dual wield. I cant seem to figure out how to get her to also use a sword. I might run into problems where she will use the spell on vampires and be ineffective...

Aside from that, choke spell lethal or non-lethal version are fun! Thank you. Well done spell.

Most of the time with vanilla spells, NPCs will get only the left or right hand version of the spell, rather than the either hand version as with my spells. If you'd like I can include a version of the spell that is only left hand, for teaching to your follower.

As for the reversed description, I'm not sure what you mean? I have another user who's had no issues thus far.

I can say it doesn't affect the undead at all, though I am considering making it so they are still affected by the stagger and stamina regen prevention. Let me know if these are good ideas.

EDIT: looking at EFF it seems you can teach them individual hand versions of any spell? So I might not have to make these follower versions. I'll still make the modifications to the stagger and stamina effects though.

EDIT 2: making the changes now will upload soon.

Gonna install your updated mod and test. Yes, having vampires suffer a partial effect is good business. Maintains play balance. For the spell to do nothing to them and have my AI uselessly use the spell over and over is too frustrating to endure.

Edit: What I mean by your spell reversed description is that the non lethal version is lethal and vice versa.

Has anyone used Suffocation in tandem with the Spell Charging mod, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57235/?, where spell strength and/or duration is increased by holding the Spell key before casting the spell? As long as charged suffocation is not a too easy, single hit kill, I think this sound like an enormously satisfying way of dealing annoying enemies.

To my recollection, that mod is only capable of affecting fire and forget spells, whereas this mod's spells are concentration based.
I don't think it would work.

The mod looks really good but could you add a version that paralyzes the target for a few minutes instead of killing it,that would be great for role playing purposes if you play a character who avoids killing?

I like that idea. I'll add another spell that does this, as well as lets you search their inventory and pull them around.

EDIT: Okay, so I haven't found a very simple way to do the dragging bit, but I do have unconsciousness and looting. So there's that. Will upload soon.

      EDIT 2: Uploaded new version

Well I didn't think it would be reasonable to be able to suffocate a dragon. I don't want this spell to be overpowered. I just figured that since they're inherently magical, and also huge, it wouldn't work on them.
I might make a version that effects dragons and dremora too.

I'll definitely look into the crashes though. You've confirmed it was the snapping of the neck that did it?

EDIT: I think I have it working better? hard to say without further testing but I've been using the new version without issue for an hour now. I altered a few things, simplified a script.
