I realize the content and purpose for this mod and i think i am interested but I have one question. If I have a follower or 2 could they decently sandbox while I am spending my time enchanting, smelting, or whatever?

Sure. The workshop and greenhouse are both fully nav-meshed so they will follow you into the buildings and wander around while you work.

Just got a request to add this to Skyrim Special Edition. Thankfully Nexus lets us do that with a single button click so it is done, if you play the Special Edition version, I guess go look on that site for this now.

I left a long rambling post on the greenhouse page lol. Thank you for this and it's now a permanent part of my game. Endorsed!

Glad you enjoy my workshop. My first attempt at modding, so I know it is not exactly perfect, but it solves the issues I was having as a new player so I'm glad I could share it.

Go check out the next installment of this at http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77685/? for an additional room in the workshop that has 171 soil plots for you to grow plants with Hearthfires features! (THIS workshop still operates without any of the official DLC. THAT greenhouse mod requires all three DLC plus this workshop mod!!)

From the pics, the house itself looks very nice. Don't know about the smelter, forge and stuff in the living room, though. But it looks like good work for what you intended.

Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, I wasn't actually trying to build a "home" per se. Just a "man-cave" workshop or garage type of area. Teh beds were tossed in as an after-thought because maybe you want to rest a day before you leave the workshop to go trek around Skyrim.

If you intend to use the boosted enchantments and potions to build yourself a better bunch of armor and weapons, beware: armor apparently has no limit on how high you can enchant/forge its armor rating. Weapons are a different story. If you boost your weapon's damage to something around 900 (I'm still not sure what the exact value is) then the actual damage will revert to the base damage of the original weapon but it will still be listed as "Superior..." with the super high damage value in your menu. You cannot remove some of your enchantments/potion effects and try to sharpen it again either, because it is already marked as being sharpened to a higher level. So use care when making "cheat-strength" weapons.
