Good idea! But soul gems? Does not compute...then again, it's not like there's any viable alternative, all these salts being magical in nature and all.
Needed this. Salts are too damn hard to find, and my thief character can't easily access the Atronach Forge. Made Balimund's fire salt fetch quest take ages, especially if you want to make CACO grenades. Thanks.
you could try changing the recipes so that they don't show up unless the player has the ingredients for that recipe in their inventory, would cut down on the clutter a lot.
Much much easier than the atronach forge. I play a sapper and use many bombs, and explosive projectiles and the resources required are a pain, plus I usually have a ton of spare soul gems laying about so this is two birds, one stone. thank you very much.
Just want to drop by and say thanks for this. Even though I don't use bombs, with CACO this mod allows me to actually make decent magicka elixers in reasonable amounts.

Neat mod, and great idea, but just for the record, did you know that you are already able to make the salts at the Atronach forge? (the recipe for each is a salt pile, a soul gem (any size) and either a ruby(fire) Sapphire(Frost) or Amethyst(Void). so maybe you could alter the requirements to match the ones from the forge?
Oooh, I didn't know. I might make an optional file for that later. Though I mostly made this mod so people using that cooking and alchemy overhaul could easily obtain materials to make lots of bombs. Saphires and Amethysts seem too hard to come by to make lots of bombs.
have a request of a sort, have you thought of adding "vampire dust" I mean I kill a TON of vamps and they drop lil to no "dust" and it would be great to after looting everything they carry to be able to put them "to the torch" as it were and poof more dust or mauybe also if they do the "ash" meltdown as they die it has some/many dust?
That would involve going into the leveled loot lists and changing every instance of vampire individually to drop more dust I'd imagine. Not including those added by the various monster mods out there. I don't think I'm skilled enough to pull that off tbh. Sorry. lol
