A mod (don't know which one) apparently added snow to that exact region, making it so the whole porch is snowed over and I cannot interact with most objects / even see the key.
Any idea? ps; deactivating that mod isn't an option, at the end of the day, this is just a house and that mod ads a ton of stuff in a ton of different places.
would be great if you could add a command line so I can spawn the key in my inventory.
I looked at the images and your horse will probably spawn under the snow, you'll have problems using the smithing area and NPC won't navigate right. Don't know which mod is it. You could unlock the doors via the console or use the "tlc" command to find the key under the snow. To get the keys ID type: help thur's
If this mod doesn't change the actual ground but only placed a snow object where the house is, open the console, click on the snow which is covering the house and type "disable". This should get rid of it.
Not sure if you ever got this solved, but once I disable the white elk shelter mod, the snow covering the porch went away. I was having this same issue.
I have tried out and used about 15-20 or so house mods, this and Celestial Eden Caverns are my two all time favorites.
This house mod is about as perfect as I have tried. Just the right size and none of those creepy mannequins hanging around. The interactions with the house are just right and I love how I can move certain items.
My only slight complaint is that with shutters open and all the candles on it is still kind of dark inside, I wish it was a little brighter. I could be my ENB and lighting mods though.

However, just recently Hoarfrost Grotto has appeared and it wipes out the right side of the house including the leather storage area. Do you have any idea where this "Cave" came from? I did a search and it is identified as a "Test" cell! Any idea how this has found its' way into my game? This is weird.
No sorry. All I can tell you is that testing this house without any mods, there was no problem. I did use this house for a playthrough with about 100 mods and no issues occured, so maybe you have something in your load order that changes that region and causes problems.
Removed Hoarfrost Grotto from CRF. It's a small cave. Ok, the loot wasn't that bad but money is the least of problems in Skyrim. Interior was done fastly. Exterior was a bit more difficult cause noone wants to delete the original landscape. But all in all it was "ready for take off" in less than ten minutes. Now the cute little home is fully visible again.
Could you please elaborate on how you deleted Hoarfrost Grotto? I would really appreciate! I easily got rid of the rocky entrance but I can't figure out how to remove the entrance spawn point...
This is one of the best small houses on Nexus. I love the lights, sauna, and fireplaces. The one thing I do not like is the placement of the weapons rack.. makes the house a bit cluttered. But I'm going to figure out how to remove them.
But really, even if I can't remove the racks, I'll be keeping this house in my load order. Thanks.
It's amazing how little people have not downloaded this house, I tell them those, until today I discovered it, it's really great ... Of the small houses that have been creating the modders, this is one of the 5 best without any doubt... Great job, I really have fun and I enjoy this house ..
