Hi mosdefinite. Looks pretty good. I love all things celtic so glad to help you out a little if i can. Basically the best thing to do is make folders within folders using the path you need. So on you desktop.. make a folder called data, then make another folder called textures, drop this into your newly created data folder. Now you make a folder inside the textures folder called armor. And again, in the armor folder you make another called steel. Now place your mod files in this. Close the folder and onto desktop. Right click on your newly created data foler and 'add to archive' with winrar. Upload as you did before. {replace}
Thanks to demonking for noting the 'steel' part of the file structure.
Hope that helps. U just missed out the steel folder. Off to test it now..
..........Looks pretty good mate. Endorsed. Thanks. :}
ill be honest this is my second upload. It asked to put it into a rar file so i did. Now if you would be so kind to tell me how to make this better I def will
I have no idea how an emtpy texture file (that would be the steelshield.dds file) can change the vanilla textures, but still, the shield looks really good.
This sets a good example how we are NOT able to "enjoy" your mod. Don't get me wrong, I highly appreciate your work, but the lack of information about it is like a death sentence. If there is no proper information on how the mod works and what it does, I generally don't download it. In this case it is obvious that it is a texture replacer, but maybe it could have been a standalone shield. Please fix your readme
Edit: The files you provide are simple dds files without beeing included in any filestrukture. It is nearly impossible to figure out where to put them if you don't know where texture files go to. Also the MM Download option is useless this way.

The texture is blank, empty!
So thanks
Data -> Textures -> Armor -> Steel
create the folders if they don't already exist.
and it should work. The uploader should have included an NMM compatible file. It's easy to do.
