I'm going to try this out. In my case, the regular combat music is looping because of an enhanced enemy AI mod that I have activated. It's a wonderful mod, but when it's combined with another mod that adds additional creatures, plus another mod that adds new bandit gangs and yet another mod that makes all enemies tougher...well, it's quite hellish. My level 2 character is being pursued by about twelve wolves, a bear with two cubs, a bandit gang and a seriously ticked-off mage. So it's a choice between enabling God Mode or grabbing a horse to outrun them. I chose the latter, but I can still see the faint red dots of distant enemies on my radar...and the combat music just keeps blaring no matter how far away I get. It doesn't matter if I've taken refuge in an inn or the Temple of Mara! The music persistent is in the worst possible way. I really hope this helps.

Do you think you could make one that stops the intro music on the main menu? For some reason in my game i have a bug where the main menu music keeps playing forever.
Edit: Nevermind, did some sleuthing in the creation kit with the console command in your bat in mind and i fixed it.
If anyone googles their way here with the same problem, you have to type: "removemusic MUSSpecialIntro" in the console to stop the main menu music.
After careful deliberation, the Imperial council has decided that your wonderful mod is cause to forgive your treasonous remark, regardless of my urgings.
Actually, Silence is Golden removes the music altogether in the vanilla game. When I am traveling throughout Skyrim, all I hear is the wind, the sound of my horse's hoofs on the road and other sounds of nature.
Sorry...Clarification is in order on my last statement. Silence only removes music from the game while traveling Skyrim. It does not remove it from within the cities, dungeons, etc. I have also added a couple mods to enhance the natural sounds of Skyrim: Windy Skyrim and Sounds of Civilization. All three make the game a little more natural for me so that I feel more into the game, rather than just playing it like it's a movie. I would prefer no background music at all, but I don't know if that's even possible.

Btw, if I use these, won't I have later problems with the music, it will keep triggering as usual?
This codes just remove the music in the instant that is repeating ? or For the rest of gameplay ?PS: Sorry I read better and I saw that just kill the script stoping the music not removing from the game.
