Skyrim's engine is a mess from 2002 that has been torn apart and stitched together several times like some kind of technological version of Frankenstein's monster. Sometimes, that engine shits the bed, and one of the results is the combat music getting stuck in a loop. You might have encountered it after The Battle For Whiterun (Defense of Whiterun if you're a filthy Imperial), and if you're like me, you might have banged your head against the wall because PLEASE STOP THE MUSIC FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!
Ahem.
This mod is a simple BAT file that uses console commands to kill the script that handles the combat music. It's safe, it's effective, and it's idiot-proof. No frills, no bells, just a fast and painless way to end the insanity.
There are two files included in the download: one specific to the civil war music bug, and one for regular combat.
Endorsements make me happy, but comments make me even happier! Be sure to tell me if you like it.
