      As long as it doesn't change there immunity ability if so it will only overwrite that

   That's a very interesting take on this power to make it affect all vampire npc. It should really add some incentive for bringing a follower or 4 with you seeing they have a 1 in 4 random chance to simply not be hurt by your epic sword. (or bust out that trusty crossbow the dawnguard were so keen on saying how good it was for killing vampires)

      Indeed vampire hunters favor the crossbow because there too fast and strong up close for a sword
