    No Scripts, No fuss,

    No idea if its compatible with XYZ overhaul...Don't care either.

    Probably not compatible with XYZ potion overhaul, don't care either.

    Should be compatible with Unofficial Bug fixes...aka USLEEP
    Not required though.

    You need only the game and all its DLC's.

    If someone else made it or something just like it well dang there are like 2,000 Potion overhauls...
    There are like 24 Fortify Crafting Pots Files...

    Couldn't find one file with stopping Restore Spam and giving better duration for ALL Fortify Pots.

    So if you played Fallout 4 its like this....

    You cannot outheal bad gameplay...
    You also no longer have to chug your buff pots you just use em before the fight and your good to go....

    I think its a nice tradeoff.

    This change will,

    Punish you for taking damage in fights!

    Remove Tedium of Re-Potting Buffs.

    Make Magic Users Much Stronger....Hey 6 plus minutes of Fortify Destruction...Lets see those bandits ignore your Wizardly Prowess now!

    Reward people that plan properly for fights...Your off to face a dragon did you remember to pack your Potion of Fire Resistance??? <You only need the one pot now haha.

    But hey if you don't pack a pot of fire resist and your tackling Deadly Dragons don't come crying here that the Heal Pots are too harsh.

    I love this mod as it saves me enchanting slots for resistances by allowing me to make a potion that gives resist fire, frost, and shock above 80% and allows me to add a number of other potions to my arsenal like ones that increase your health, magic, and stamina values and regeneration this also gives incentive to do up to the purity perk allowing you to more easily make your potion buffs.

      Hey for any of you who use poisons one of my favorite poisons to use is a combination of imp stool, human flesh, and one ingredient that has the damage health over time effect making a potion that does paralysis, instant damage, and damage over time which is awesome and super powerful

    Nvm. Potions you create with the alchemy buffs from your items(and perk tree) go hella crazy, like hours of effects and godly.

    This is an extremely well thought mod. My only gripe is that it overwrites "Skyrim weight improvement", giving weight back to the ingredients. Otherwise, best mod of this category.

    I noticed in the file header that this a merge of two other mods here on Nexus: Skill Controlled Potion Duration -SCPD- by Atkara and Immersive Potions by Nastakanoth.

    If you've got their permission (you have, right?), you gonna credit the original authors?

    First of all, fantastic mod. Apart from the five second process of the healing potions being balanced it makes the skill-boosting potions worth using for once. It always bugged me how temporary and useless those were when the idea behind them was so good. I liked the idea of being a sort of fantasy-Batman with a potion, enchantment, or spell for every occasion but it's just not viable in the base game.

    There is one small problem. For some reason, when this is placed below "Radiant and Unique Potions and Poisons HD" the skill-boosting potions and the skill-boosting potions alone revert to their default graphic. While the "restore health/mana/magicka" potions keep their improved graphics with the new effects. But when I put that one after this one it DID show the improved graphics but the effects went back to 60 seconds and I think one of the healing potions changed to its effect activating for zero seconds? I don't get why this would happen. Is the graphics and effects somehow tied together and is there a way to fix it?

      This sounds like the author made his mod work by changing the Texture in the ESP.

      You will have to make a patch file or perhaps a bash patch might resolve the issue.

    Thank you, I always found the instant effects of potions such an unimmersive, gamebreaking mechanic. I was looking for a mod outside Requiem which changes this balance. Endorsed!

    I agree with the title, and the fact that the mod will be without scripts and nothing too heavy is great.
    It just shows that it will be compatible with all and will change exactly what it says.
    Okay, one of the game's problems in realistic gameplay issue that is criticized, is it you are fighting and such, suddenly stop the game and stay choosing what to equip.
    This caused the use of potions be abused, you exchange a lot of equipment, and the most obvious, stop time to reflect.
    To correct the three will have to disable the stop of the game when you open the menu, and this is not possible.
    But prevent the abuse of potions and create a kind of time to equip already solves just about everything, there the gameplay will be closest to a good immersion.
    Maybe now I wind up back to use potions.

    *On the question of taking time to equip, I imagine putting the character to make an animation that locks the use of arms as exchange equipment.

      Glad you like it.

      For change of equipment there are quite a few nice mods on Nexus like Equipment Overhaul but I'm not sure if there are some that don't use scripts.

      There is a mod that makes the character play an animation when drinking potions and eating food but I imagine the end user will have to make a merge patch.

      The delay system for equip of equipment overhaul is buggy and only affects weapons.
      It forces you to unequip weapons before equipping new.
      This animation drinking and such, I'm going to look but I think it forces you to stand still.
      What I wonder how best to fix the situation would be to drink a potion, drinking a second using the other hand and turn off the option of another drink. [You know, the potions stay with gray letter and can not enable them]
      So when you leave the menu, you can still walk, but will not be able to use your hands or a hand if only drink one potion, and will obviously show the hand moving making the animation.
