I'm after the non-animated, retexture only version. I'm on SSE though, but that should be fine since it "contains only replacements for vanilla meshes with new textures" right?
There's no ESP either i suppose, is there?

Yes, it is a version with meshes and textures only, so it should work fine with SSE.

      Great! Thanks for answering :)
I see now that you've made a version that is "SSE Retexture Only Non-Animated" is this maybe the same as the one I first was thinking of, only in SSE? If so, then it would be perfect for me!

I also use iNeed and AllGUD, I see there's mention of patches, but do I need that for only the textures version though?

Ah yes, I ran the meshes through the optimizer but never tested it properly :D

You don't need patches for those if you're using retexture version.

Used the 2nd main file & it looks FANTASTIC in 2022 ! Awesome mod.

EDIT: These effects only seem to be available for vendor items but not the potions you make yourself...?.....

    Hi,
I'm searching for a new potion look mod that goes with Dynamic Potions, this mod allows to alter the potions effects within each game by its MCM, but I currently don't know to which extend I can modify potion textures with another mod without freaking Dynamic Potions, and I would like to have good looking pots in my game. If anyone knows a mod like this, I'd take a look at it.

How to convert MAIN version to SSE for your own use.

Install main file and animation fix if you installed animation version.
    Install required patches.

Install and run Cathedral Assets Optimizer. DO NOT RUN IN MO2. Run CAO separately.
Point Cathedral to Pretty Potions mod directory. Select sIngle Mod
Select Process Meshes and Process Textures. Both are to use Necessary Optimization.
    Run. Exit when complete.

CACO Patch, iNeed Patch, MLU etc.
Open xEdit. Set ESM flag for the master record.

Run Creation Kit from your mod manager.
Open, select pretty potions.esp as active file.
    Save plugin. Exit

    xEdit
    Remove ESM flags from masters.

    Loot

    Play game.

What's the difference between Legendary and Caco? And what's the difference between Caco and the main file? I also noticed that there is an FOMod file included, does that mean I NEED nexus mod manager to use this mod? Or can I just manually install the mod files?

I don't want to be rude, but did you read the description? Because almost everything is written there. If you don't know what CACO is, then you probably don't need that patch.
You can always install mods manually, even if they have fomod installer included. Just follow INSTALLATION instruction from the description.

Thanks for your response. Yes I did read through the description beforehand, I just didn't fully understand it. I'm gonna try and install your mod and see if it works for me. If I have any other questions I'll message again. Thanks for the help, I really like the look of your mod :)
