"I know the reason why, I've had this issue with the Nexus before and I can immediately see why you're having this issue.
Up in the URL of your web browser, it VERY likely says that the webpage is "Secure." Normally, on any other site, this would be perfectly fine; however, the Nexus fails to download any mod when this is the case. Why, I don't know.
To fix it, cut out the "s" at the end of "HTTPS" If that doesn't work, you can try doing that and copy and pasting it back. If that doesn't work, there should be a setting in your web browser that should allow you to disable requiring this function and you can reactivate it whenever you're done with the Nexus.
It's an issue that isn't too common on the Nexus; web browsers have a habit of selectively doing it here on some mod pages for some reason."
Thanks so much for this I downloaded the premade tree lods and my game looks amazing now, before my tree lods made me want to vomit but now they look incredible so thanks again!
No idea, download manually works fine for me. Try the workaround posted below by CptMcSplody:
Just right click the download button, copy the link address, and browse to that link, it should bring you to the required mods warning page with the download button
For anyone getting the "an error occurred" message box after clicking the manual download.
Just right click the download button, copy the link address, and browse to that link, it should bring you to the required mods warning page with the download button
Downloads of the two main files (with manager or manually) are still not working (at least for me). Thanks for the workround - it works for me. But it would still be better if the underlying download problem was fixed.
