maomer are one of the aldmer offshoots like the chimer(now dunmer/dark elves) falmer/ snow elves dwemer/dwarves and the bosmer/wood elves they are described as being a pale bluish color and partially see through to a degree and if I remember right are either immortal or near immortal.
