2.0 version has just been released and is available for download.
See the changelog and images for details on what the update includes.

A lot of work has gone into the 2.0 version. It started off as me just wanting to do a 'quick update' to the file for lighter bone and smaller sized downloads, but I kept finding things to fix and here we are. I hope you all enjoy the new installer options.

As I said in the download for the scabbard psd file, if you guys make any scabbard designs you would like me to upload, please let me know because I'd be happy to do so. I would then also provide support and fixes for them if any issues arise at all.
If you would like to upload them yourself on a separate page you must first get GhostintheMachin6 permission as it's his textures I adapted for the scabbard. You have my permission to publish if he gives his, just let me know in a comment because I'd LOVE to see what you guys come up with.

This will likely be the final update I will do to this mod, other then uploading user scabbard designs, unless someone comes up with a scabbard design they would like me to do myself that I think is particularly awesome.
Other suggestions are welcome as well, though no guarantees I will do them.
    Enjoy the mod guys!

Would the textures also work for Leanwolf's standalone dragonbone weapons?

No idea. If they reference the vanilla textures then yes they will work. If they have their own UV map or textures then they won't.

Turns out this doesn't work at all with any of the "dragonbling" options in leanwolf's mod.

With a little knowledge of NifSkope it's very easy to implement Leanwolfs gems into the meshes of Dragonbone Mastery. Have done it myself cause I didn't want to miss the gems. They simply look too good in combination (see users images).

I managed to figure that out a while ago. Felt very accomplished when I did, since I honestly can't really make sense of much in Nifskope.

I always wanted to see a ebony blade shaped dragonbone weapon. In shot dragonbone katana with the edge being dragonbone! with an elaborate crossguard that is made of fangs and ribcage like, but the grip and pommel is ebony!
:\ this is not a request.

Came back here and found your new scabbard designs. Very nice! Thanks for making these weapons worthy of the name, Dragonborn.

I noticed that the kill cam arrows look from the vanilla. Is there an error on my part of installing or is it just not part of the mod?

Great mod, much praise to the author.

What armor retexture are you using in the screenshots by the way?

Its a custom texture I made for my own game by combining Tri Metal Dragonbone Armor and Babas Dragonbone HD. I didnt mean to have it enabled, but I forgot when I was taking the screenshots and then I didn't want to have to take them all over again.

I get an error with MO downloading the file without engravings: Installation as fomod failed: bad xml

Downloading it again doesn't change it.

New file going up now, see if that helps. There was an extra code line in the 2.1 version which was throwing off errors, fixed it in the 2.1.1 version, at least according to my own test and the FOMOD Validator.

Hi there, thanks for the update. Minor quirk with the ' Dragonbone Mastery - WITHOUT Engravings' v2.1 archive (haven't tested the other one): Little XML issue in ModuleConfig.xml causing the FOMOD installer to not run (on MO).

XML Parsing Error: mismatched tag. Expected: </plugins>.
    Line Number 93, Column 15:</plugin>

    Extra </plugin> closing tag

I am also having this issue, but my error message is, "The 'plugins' start tag on line 77 does not match the end tag of 'plugin'. Line 93, position 15." Sounds like it's talking about the same thing, though.

Thanks for alerting me. I really have no idea what the hell happened there considering I didn't even edit that line in the last update, but regardless, there's a fix going up for it now
