I was really looking forward to using this mod! With all three of the mods installed (BG, BGlowing and yours) the jewel box was closed. I disabled your mod and it was open again. Any solutions? Or am I missing something? I already had 2 of the stones.
Hi, sorry for the late reply. Yes, the box is closed on purpose in your inventory, because there's no way to show accurately what colour stone you actually picked up! The boxes will be open when you find them in the world though.
The crown is not wearable, no. Saerileth, the author of Barenziah's Glory (which this mod expands on) says that mods which make the crown wearable would need a compatibility patch. But hey, it looks pretty right? XD
Thankyou for releasing this, but my Dova-bling-king is saddened that is cannot be equipped. You mention compatibility patch, which isn't really the right term, since it would require mesh editing rather than esp changes. I find NifSkope overwhelming and so far only use it to preview nif files and find out what textures they reference.

Why don't you use this tool, especially to merge the 2 files dependencies of yours, in one ? If you just don't know that tool, so here is the link, if that can help you...
Merging plugins isn't anything new, TES5Edit has been able to do it for ages. That said, the tool wouldn't even do anything in this case, neither my nor FiendishGhoul's mod (the two required downloads) contain an .esp file, so there's nothing to merge. It's just meshes and textures that need to be downloaded from multiple sources.
The reason Faegen isn't hosting the complete mod is out of courtesy to me and FiendishGhoul, so that we also receive endorsements and downloads for our contributions. Personally I really wouldn't mind missing out on those things, but this is how it's usually done with addons to other mods.
Thanks for the suggestion - however I only have permission from the other mod authors to use certain assets from their mods, not to merge their entire mods into mine. It means that if people use my mod, they still download (& hopefully endorse) the original mods which this one is based on - which I think is only fair Plus, only Multi-Colored Barenziah's Glowing has an esp - the others don't have esps, so the Merge Plugins tool isn't needed anyway. But thanks for the thought & it's certainly a useful tool!
If you end up merging my plugin with others using Merge Plugins, I'd be interested to know whether it works or not, so I can add it to the mod description. Thanks a lot!
I'm assuming not, but could I use this on a game where I have already collected some of the stones? I'm using Barenziah's Glory, but not the glowing mod at present. Thank you!
Hi, you can use this on a game where you've already collected some of the stones, but in the locations of the stones you've found, you will see slightly levitating gem jewellery boxes, because the tables they were sitting on have already been picked up by you. It's no problem & you can easily get rid of the extra boxes - just bring up the console (type `), click on the box and type disable, and then press enter. And the box will disappear forever!
For the stones you haven't yet collected, you should see that the new colored gems are sitting on little tables as normal. Just activate the tables to pick up the stones and you're good to go.
