About this mod

Combines rebuilt elements from Hardcore Compass Mod and 1080 Smaller ipHUD to make my ideal HUD.

Permissions and credits
Hardcore Smaller ipHUD rebuilds the functionality of Hardcore Compass Mod (Variant 1) into 1080 Smaller ipHUD, to make what I consider the ideal immersive Skyrim HUD.

Mod Features:
  • Moves all of the player HUD bars as a small unobtrusive set to the bottom center of the screen.
  • The Health, Stamina, and Magicka bars each respectively auto-fade when full.
  • The Compass in Hardcore Smaller ipHUD doesn't auto-fade, and I recommend also using Immersive HUD - iHUD by Gopher to make the Compass toggleable -and to add crosshair fade options- if you don't want them to always be on screen.
  • All Found Locations and Enemies show up on the Compass, while Undiscovered Locations and Quest Pointers will not show on the Compass. This mod doesn't affect the Map Screen, so Quest Markers will still show up on the Map.
  • The blue personal Map Marker will still show up on your compass if you mark it on the Map Screen for those who want it's functionality.

Although IVmM7 has stated on their mod page that 1080 Smaller ipHUD isn't intended for resolutions other than 1920x1080, I've found this mod to work perfectly for other resolutions involving 16:9 (1280x720, 1366x768, 1600x900, 1920x1080). Hardcore Smaller ipHUD may position the HUD as intended at other resolutions and aspect ratios as well, and I'll add to the list as I have more confirmed.

Install: Copy the 'Interface' folder to Skyrim's 'Data' folder, or use Mod Organizer and double-click the download, then click OK, then check the mod box on the left windowed table.
Uninstall: Delete data\Interface\exported\hudmenu.gfx,, or if using Mod Organizer uncheck the mod box. This won't cause any save issues.

This mod was created because I love the implementation of Requiem - Minor Arcana by Axonis, but I can't play Requiem without the layout of 1080 Smaller ipHUD. This forced my hand to learn how to edit and rebuild some aspects of .gfx files.
