FYI, when I use the cooking pot in the the fireplace, my character clips through the house and ends up falling into nothingness after I stop using it. Here's a clip. It's a unlisted video so only people with this link can watch it.
It would be amazing if you could make this into an npc home, and just have a Dunmer family living in it. In fact, you should make more settlement mods around Solstheim because I think you make pretty good Morrowind designs.
I come back to this mod when I want to roll a Dunmer character and I have figured out how to solve the two issues I previously posted about. Captain Veleth has an X marker which he goes to for "searching" the farm, moving that out from under the new house fixed his front-door-kissing behavior.
Flagging the house exterior meshes and entries to never fade and "is full LOD" fixed the pop-in and even on my potato had no perceptible performance impact.
Thought I'd report that Captain Veleth doesn't seem to know where to walk with this mod installed - after helping him defeat the ash spawn, he walks straight into the front door as if hoping to break it down with his face and continues to walk in place. Definitely a navmesh issue. I tried fixing it myself but just ended up breaking things further. Also, have you thought about adding lod for the house so it doesn't just pop in when approached? Other than that, I love this mod and it makes Raven Rock look much better.
I really love that house. Too sad that you took off the SSE version, so I had to convert it for myself. I think the door bug in SSE version was related to the textures. Because SSE doesnt like some normal maps - so I had to add only an alpha layer to 7 or 9 normal maps textures. Then saving and the problem was solved
Great mod! I have a bug when I use the cooking pot though. When I use it it place my character outside the wall and if I leave the menu my character is falling in the void. Maybe rotate the cooking pot position?
This is a great find, perfect for anyone who loves Morrowind like I do. My only complain so far would be that it seems followers cannot enter the house (I'll check again with a different follower) aside from that it's great!
Yea looks like it may need to be navmeshed or whatever (I'm ignorant when it comes to mod-making heh) I tested it with Dals Andaval (dunmer follower from Male Elven Followers Mod), Teryn Meru (from Anna NPCs) and Marcurio (vanilla follower) and I had to use the 'summon followers' spell to get them in. Other than that, excellent house mod.
this is a great looking house mod, and I want it BUT have 2 questions so I know what I am seeing in MO (the quest question was already answered that it works and no problem and on the play-thru I am on I just had that fight but yet to talk to the guy anyway
so I see a lot of conflicting files for 4 different house mods mostly the resources/paintings etc is there any known load order amongst them sorry I can't find my notes will have to go back wait one ok just checked and NO conflicts at allthis is weird anyone else seen this happen with ANY house modnamely:
I install and check load order (loot) then fix/tweek that list and it shows a bunch of overwrite and overwritten files so I un-check until I can ask here, re-check to all active and NO overwrites or overwrittens at all
did you add any goblins or gremlins ? can ash spawns glitch stuff? ; ok if it happens again I will ask with better info thanks for the very cool home
the overwrites are most likely from the modders resources I use, so no worries. no i did not add goblins or gremlins or any other enemies. the ash spawn should work just as in vanilla skyrim as i did not touch them at all.
