This mod is a massive undertaking that's been spearheaded by me and me alone for 2 years now. I want nothing more than to make it the absolute best experience possible for everybody.
Learn how to use Bashed Patches correctly, learn where things go in a load order, and learn how to install mods properly before commenting about CTDs. This mod is incredibly stable for what it does, trust me on this. I'm at my wit's end about all these reports coming in that end up not having the most simple, basic modding tools in use, and I'm honestly extremely frustrated with it.
If you don't use Wrye Bash at the bare minimum, I don't even think your Skyrim should be playable to any extent. I'm just going to point people to this sticky in the future.
I love this mod so much. But I can't get the next mission to start after BFB. The general tells me something about a blacksmith and that's it the story never progresses
I heard this mod is very challenging so I really want to try this but too bad it has conflict with "Pirates of Skyrim - Northern Cardinal" mod and I love being a Pirate, maybe I'll try this mod when I play at SE since "Pirates of skyrim" mod is not yet available in SE
Really? Well, how about NO? For a mod of this size, one expects for it to be standalone, save for some common mods like USLEEP, SKSE or custom skeleton. This one... is too much.
That's too bad! The engine is so much stronger and let modders make much more powerful mods. Almost anything and everything has been ported over by now, too. I recommend giving SE a shot as it definitely deserves to take over LE's place by now.
Definitely a ton of mods not anywhere near being ported to SE and I myself personally have neither the skill or the patience to do that myself. Like the others here, staying on Classic Skyrim. Too bad the mod for this version is no longer updated. Good luck, author! This still looks very interesting.
Unfortunately, I have to agree. I started looking into switching of to special edition, but when I was looking at my mods I wasn't even a quarter through my list and had already found 15 that weren't converted. Just looking at the difference between the number of uploads between the two is proof enough. Oldrim has 62K+ mods vs Special Edition which only has 21K+ mods
Don't know if anyone else has commented on this already, but just so people know, the Forgotten Dungeons patch for this mod no longer works, as the mod has been updated since that patch was created.
Some of the people in this mod say things i have never heard before which is just amazing , i like how this could be the perfect end game content or a real survival new game content. Honestly with a mod this great i dont even need a custom voiced actor xD , funny storry so i caught the general in whiterun (not gonna say which day this happened to not spoil it for anybody) but when i saw him i recognized his name & said oh snap that's the enemy. lmao My train of thought went out the window and i just attacked him on sight said f it. I reloaded killed the people he was walking with & somebody who was related to one of those people actually came for revenge against me ! bro my mind was blown haha If your looking for a great mod folks this is it. 10/10
If you can upgrade to SSE, there is an extremely upgraded version of this mod there that I still work on daily. I highly recommend making the transition. Almost every single prior mod on Skyrim LE is on SSE.
I would >love< to do just that but my pc cant handle the specs of SSE. Overheats and all the goodness. I stumbled across the SSE version first and I admit, Im more than a little envious, looks well designed and polished from the vids Ive seen.

You're commenting on a 3 year old version of the mod. Please refer to the Skyrim Special Edition version, feature complete and standalone.

I don't have SE and I'm not planning to :) Well, actually I HAD it some time ago, but I went back to LE because it has much more mods.
