Could we get a better idea of where the new dungeons are?
I haven't found them yet, but I've always enjoyed the first two. They're a glorious romp and an opportunity for good loot (nothing excessive, but lots of bandits, and bandits carry gear...so yeah.) I think these dungeons are the perfect size: big enough to be complex, fun, interesting and rewarding; not so big that you feel that you're trapped in an endless maze. Good place to test bandit mods too. They're a pretty standard part of my playthroughs. The move to Anise's was a good one; conflicts aside, I thought the old dungeon was a little too close to Riverwood, although that didn't bother me.
Endorsed. House, you did good work and responded very graciously to criticism. I feel you were dumped on far more than necessary and hope that you'll keep up the good work and were in no way discouraged. You're a very solid modder.
Well first off I have to say thank you. You probably have noticed but this mod has not been worked on in a very long time. Life had just gotten a little too busy and just kinda forgot about it. So here I am in my senior year slacking off in study hall and I remembered that this thing existed. I decided to see how it was doing and I was a little shocked by the amount of endorsements there were. This was the only new comment I saw and it may have just revived this mod. Once I get some time I will let you know where the other two are and possibly continue work on this old dog.
Once again thank you for leaving a comment letting me know that someone actually enjoys this mod. I had forgotten how good it feels to see you own work be appreciated.
riverwood dungeon: the room with campfire and a big chest, there's still flicker issue
morthal retreat: a mesh crack above the first hole
you are industrious, personally i won't use a dungeon can be cleared within few minutes. your work is ok, this is a start, when you are experienced you can create and handle bigger dungeon which provides much time playing such as MoonshimmerMine.
Alright thanks for the feedback! I have been working on lighting a lot and have changed a lot in that specific room BUT I will go check it out again just to make sure I have fixed it. Also thanks for the picture! I plan on revamping that entire dungeon so hopefully I will fix all these cracks that appear.
"1. walk around with torch, you will see how many lighting flicker issues. 2. dungeons too small, not useful enough." ""practise more, fix then extend them."<--pretending to know it all and slightly condescending.<---^^^^^^^^ NOT constructive criticism
Constructive criticism. ------> "The dungeons are bit too small I think for my personal tastes and probably others too and maybe you will want to take a torch and go through the dungeouns cause I saw alot of light issues, such as flickering.
thejiffiness: sigh, you think too much boy. this world is not ruled by so "kind" people like you, your heart should be more open and stronger. i'm severe and know issues, if i wrote here i have tested lots of dungeon mods before, you must blame me again. you have to know, i can just pass by without any feedback, i don't care at all. why i do, i think a seed one day may become a tree, leave somethings with practical help better than a praise. i'm a man not a lady care about everything, empty talk is useless, the talk is end.
Well pointing out issues is good and all, but it'd be great if you tried to go about it tactfully. "Dungeons too small..." is subjective, so listing it as an objective problem is uncalled for. It says right in the mod goal that the dungeons are meant to be small, and if you don't like them that way, then maybe this mod just isn't your cup of tea. If I said, for instance, "Your English is garbage. Leave the internet until it's fixed," that would be very mean and uncalled for. If, however, I said, "I can see a few grammatical errors in your comments. Maybe those could use some work," it would get the same message across, but rather than just annoy you, it might actually cause you to reevaluate your posts and improve future posts. Do you see the difference? When people are nice, other people tend to respond better to their suggestions.
Personally, I like the idea of a bunch of smaller dungeons. One to five rooms, like Embershard Mine. Variety is a good thing. My advice, for what it's worth (since I am not a modder) is to finish this series before trying your hand at something bigger. Plenty of people will appreciate this mod for what it is.
i see you have extended new dungeons. the objects of worldspace, i suggest not to use " Deleted" flag, use "Initially Disabled" instead of it. it might cause potential ctd issue when using with other mods.
@lued123 learn how to write first, then reply here. tired to finish reading a baby's post. @Canlocu: sigh, after a month, such a little dog jump out. well, while the author is practising, what are you doing? empty-talikng and howling?

I'm gonna just stop replying here and hope that everyone else does the same. This thread deserves nothing more than to fade into complete obscurity. When it gets pushed down, I can only hope that it's replaced by people who have some sense of decency. Of course, I don't expect yexian7 to understand or read what I just said, so below is the TLDR version: TLDR: This thread sucks and I'd like it to die.
Why does this thread suck? Because the dude slammed with you? So what? He has his opinion, you have yours. Personally, I agree with you. There are plenty of huge dungeon mods around, not that many smaller ones. Worse still, there are plenty of half finished huge dungeon mods that will never be complete. At least this one is usable.
I have not personally tried this mod and I'm not here to judge it or offer specific criticism about it. What I do want to say is that the location across the river from Riverwood is a prime piece of real estate for multiple mods. For example, Ogmund's Tomb, another mod, uses that exact same location. So you have the user having to choose which mod to install, yours or his, because they both occupy the same worldspace. I guess what I'm saying is as a new modder, creating a new dungeon or two, I personally would find a very remote and out of the way location to try out my dungeons. One thing I loved about Helgen Reborn is that the mod author placed some of his dungeons within OTHER preexisting dungeons. I found that to be very clever. Expand Embershard, or Anise's Cabin basement or something like that, if you want a dungeon before the player gets to Riverwood. Hell, even a trapdoor in the riverbed.
You sir are a lifesaver, I had no idea that the cell across river wood was quite popular and I will definitely have to move it, and yes that was my first location so I was following a tutorial when I first created it hence why its there, I just haven't moved it and now I will for the next update. Just for taking the time to let me know that it is in a popular location means a lot. So, Thanks!
This is shaping up to be a nice little mod. Definite potential in having a bunch of small dungeons to stumble across throughout a playthrough. I'll be tracking for now, cause reinstalling something several times is just the worst, but I just wanted to let you know I'm interested in what you're going for.
Thanks! That's I've been shooting for; I always loved finding small-medium locations around the world that way if I was traveling somewhere I wouldn't get bored. Thanks for the support!
