is great idea BUT for some as of yet to be determined reason this CTD's my game my game is fine with Soulfire but when I add this , no go. is it supposed to merge or stand alone? I have MO and it says the file structure is correct (looks good) but no menu for MCM because it CTDs. when I had this installed it showed NO conflicts or errors, just the green plus I would expect showing overwriting of base mod.
    any help would be welcomed
and yes the base is 1.7 latest version

It's supposed to go on top of Soulfire, and still needs Soulfire to run. Since you're using MO, I would recommend installing it as a separate mod and loading it after Soulfire.
Could you clarify what you mean by "no menu for MCM because it CTDs"?
Does your Skyrim CTD immediately when you open it, when you load your save, or when you try to access SEET's MCM?
If possible, do load up your game in TES5Edit, and send me any error messages it displays in its log. That would help greatly in figuring out what's wrong so I can fix it.
      Thank you!

that is what I tried as MO sets it up as seperate mod and does not offer the "merge file" choice
when YOUR file is loaded into game it CTD's as you get to the choice screen (continue/new/load) or just before.
when I use the base mod all is fine I can run the game cast the "spells" to do what it does BUT there is no "perk tree anywhere at all" when you open "skills"
well I don't know how to load up the game (the whole game?? into TESVedit I have done merges and individual files but the whole game? not a clue.
you have screen shots posted of the MCM, mine are NOT like that ever because your mod crashes, with the base mod I do have the proper selection to choose from to wait for perks or use short cut etc. but again NO perk tree anywhere in skills, where all the other perk trees are.
not a problem I am ok with the base mod as is. and while this might get fixed for me I am not up for doing all the testing, sorry. maybe it will work for others.
your mod's file structure does not allow it to "go on top OR overwrite" the base mod in MO maybe it does in NMM??
I actually started with a "NEW game" fresh when I first got these 2 mods so I would NOT have any problem with the older mods (ASG) but never got it to run, so took your mod out and it loaded up and ran fine with just the base mod. tried to add it back in and another set of CTD's. good luck

Thanks for taking the time to reply, I realise it's trouble for you and I respect that you have absolutely no obligations to either use this mod or help in troubleshooting it.
Just in case anyone else has similar problems and is willing to run diagnostics:
By 'on top', I mean that Soulfire should be installed, and this mod installed separately and loaded after. Especially in MO, this is possible by having it lower than Soulfire in your left window.
Loading up the game in TES5Edit means simply running TES5Edit with the same load order you use for your game. Especially since your game is crashing upon reaching the main menu, TES5Edit should produce an error message when it loads. This error message will indicate things like missing masters and so on which will be very helpful in helping me edit the mod to prevent such things from happening in the future.
I'm afraid I won't be able to fix the issue without further information, but thank you for your well wishes all the same.

PS: Regarding Soulfire itself, so far as I know (please do check in with the original mod to be sure): it currently uses the perks in the conjuration tree, and a new perk tree will be implemented either in a later iteration of the mod or in a separate mod.

My game works fine with this mod.
Perhaps, as the mod creator suggested, it's YOUR MO installation that's wrong.
