Bro why is the texture name ingotsilver01? Shouldn't it be ingotiron01? Or I don't get something..

I think if you intend to do the other ingots (which makes perfect sense), you "should" do the ores as well. The trouble is, there is no one complete "set" in the same style. HalkHogan was working on something, but then simply abandoned everything without telling anyone. He made really nice ores, but only some of the ingots. (you could alternatively make your ingots look similar in style to HH's ores, but I don't think any artist would like to limit himself that way)

I'd love to download this, but I feel like the two are way too similar to each other. If you lightened up the steel ingot some to bring it closer to the vanilla color I think it'd be a lil more "lore" friendly, so to speak.

No problem. Personally i think they went too bright with the original steel ingot compared with the steel equipment it produces. In vanilla the steel ingot colour and the steel armor/weapons colour doesn't match, so have gone for the darker colour that I think matches the armor it produces. Same with the iron. The steel is also more shiny which makes it look brighter in game, and the iron dull like the armor. I get what you mean about them being similar, but I personally like the way they match the armor/weapons produced in game.

Are those better high poly meshes or the vanilla ones?
There are 2 mods with better meshes as far as I know, one from halkhogan.

No, didn't touch the meshes, don't have any skill with creating meshes-- I just had to alter the folder name for the new cubemaps as I found the vanilla cubemaps didn't look quite right. The halkhogan meshes are a better mesh, but they have a problem with the collision around the ingots---if you go to a stack of ingots there are gaps between the ingots. Someone mentioned it to him on his discussion section so he's aware of it. If they were fixed I'd have asked permission to use them as they are a better mesh yes.
