Good work, very beautiful, I wanted to know, however, how do I move the ship in real time?
    Or just makes quick trips?

The "Movement" system is basically a Skyrim/Solstheim through a door to Ocean then through a door to Skyrim/Solstheim. With no knowledge of scripting I couldn't do it differently. Just take a sleep in the cabin (while in the ocean).

To be honest, I'm not sure if the Skyrim/Solstheim Quick Travel arrow or the default boat actually progresses time either.

This is very nice mod. It is very simple and useful. Thank you for sharing ... but I would like to suggest you something if you interest.. I think you can add dock to dock travel options I mean when we use the ship from windhelm then we can fast travel to solitude or others... If it is possible than it wold be nice.

That would require a knowledge of scripting.

So far my only real foray into scripting a Bethesda title was bodging Enclave Radio to never go offline (and subsequent bodges to bring it back online in case it did) in Tale Of Two Wastelands (an amazing mod that ports Fallout 3 into New Vegas' superior engine).

I have seen a system you describe be done. The Okazaah I believe.

Great idea! I don't like the giant stone attachments on bow & stern though. If it looked like a normal boat, this could be a really great mod. A lot of potential here.

just right, this would ship in reality, sink like a stone.
and one other thing that bothers me personally, why are for all ships mods the sail pulled up? so why not open?

Probably because if they were open, the ship would either be blown out to sea, or if a storm struck, the sails would be torn right off the masts.

I would have to agree with tarowe4 and Draco here, and normally I'm all for the un-immersive trinkets. Those stone attachments don't look right on the ship. I think maybe have a dead Draugr hanging off the bow of the ship would be much better, or a dragon skull.... or Nazeem/Braith/Heimskr. Other than that, great job, I don't think anyone else made a mod quite like this.

      @godball50
is there in Skyrim storms ????
that would be new to me, it rains and sometimes a thunderstorm, but not so strong that a sail would tear!
and it would be me also new, that a sailing ship with closed sailing would maneuverable!
however with an additional motor. LOL, LOL.

If you really don't like them. Just go into the CK and remove them (Although it will leave holes in ocean cell's anti-water entry walls). I like to think they are hollow and probably have a degree of magic in them.

EDIT: I have no uploaded a no-head version of the boat. I also cleaned them with TES5Edit.

There's an alternative to removing the "stony" works: in CK you can use a wood texture, assign it as a textureset, then select the stonework, and replace its texture.

In a fantasy world with talking cat and lizard people, and dragons, I don't think this ship is too un-lore friendly. Nor do I worry about realism considering my character shoots fireballs from it's hands. I think this ship has character.

Can I land my X-Wing on the deck? LOL!
