May I ask where you learned how to do this? I've been trying, for a while already, to find a way to edit these but I haven't found anything useful so far. I tried unpacking the SWF myself but I didn't find the proper tool either.
Love it. Not only are the colors nice, not too much, but also the icons are just well designed. It's all in the little details. The most important part is keeping this updated with SkyUI, imo, which most map marker mods don't do. I hope you do.
Even if SkyUI is updated, IMO it will probably work in newer versions, as they probably (PROBABLY) won't touch the art location. If I ever update this again, I will add a FOMOD installer, no promises though!
The incompatibility with SkyUI is not only a message. With this map.swf you can't search for a location by name in the map interface, like in SkyUI's map.swf This is a very nice map marker mod but i would really like to see this patched
Thanks. Works as advertised with Legendary edition. Compatible with <A Quality World Map and Solstheim Map - With Roads>. Not sure I like the colors on certain marker types, but it's better than all white.
Lovely looking map markers. I do enjoy the look of them quite a lot. As for the SkyUI compatibility the best way to fix this is to extract mapmarkerart.swf from SkyUI. This is where SkyUI 5.0+ now contains all the map marker icons. Map.swf for SkyUI no longer contains the icons all it has in this file is the bottom bar and local map UI textures. The layout of the folder structure for this should be data/interface/skyui. In the skyui folder is where mapmarkerart.swf should be placed.

This is a very nice map marker mod but i would really like to see this patched
