About this mod

This mod aims to change each map marker to bring more immersion to the map.

UPDATE²:
SkyUI is now compatible with LMM.

UPDATE:
It was really making these and I felt it deserved a bit more, so I changed some icons, and added the colored markers to the compass. This is likely the final version, I have no intention on updating this further, there is some mistakes in some markers, and you're free to edit it and post it however you want as long as you link it back to this thread, and Shiva64's thread
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Introduction:

I tried to make each marker unique in its own way, i wanted to have a diversified map while also easily distinguishable. I also aim to make different variations, but that will come eventually.

What it does:
This mod changes each icon to a more immersive, colorful version, while also making it as lore friendly as possible, such as city markers matching their city colors. It also changes quest markers to a orange-ish look, so that it is easily distinguishable from the rest of the markers, (the custom map marker still retains its blue color on the top).

Installation:
For manual installation, just drag and drop the contents in the Data folder, overwrite if asked.

Variations:
If you'd like to have your version here, just say the word.

But... why ?
Answering a question with another question is bad, I know, but why not ? The other mods like this out there were never really what I was looking for, then NACMIM came, and made it better, but there was stilll something lacking, so I made my own, and decided to post it!

Compatibility:
This is not compatible with any mods that alter the map.swf file. But it should be compatible with any other mods out there.
SkyUI has been reported to give a error message to users with a custom map file, go to the Advanced tab under the SkyUI MCM menu and disable the map version checking, that will stop the message from appearing.
SkyUI is now compatible.

Credit where its due...
This mod was inspired and built around NACMIM by Shiva64, although it took a different turn from the mod it was built around on, it still retains some markers of his/her mod.
