I am using some of your mod and i like your style. In this case i am wondering how much risky can be uninstalling this after saving the game. Anyway i am going to convert it for SSE and playing in testing mode (secondary character) for a while to see if something bad happens.
I mean type in console "player.removespell xxxxxxxx" where xxxxxxxx is the id number of the spell (or spells). To get the id number, you would need to check Tes5Edit.
You are very kind, i don't know exactly how to do it (and if you explain it to me i would be glad), anyway this is not the point. Is more that i am not sure if i want to install the mod on my main character, i will probably do it the next time. Cause it seems to touch delicate things i am not very expert in yet.
Learning some more of SSEdit is one of my "To do" thing in list. I just wonder when i will have 25hours per day to do all that i want...
Hahaha, I get you. The mod is actually pretty simple. It adds a spell that detect what kind of armor you are wearing and apply magic effect accordingly. That's all.
Oooh, i see now. I had completely misunderstood its function. I thought it was associating a carry weight value to the object itself without adding anything, or enchanting, just pumping up the statistics given that, for example, if that bagger's tunic has 1 pocket -> carry weight = +10, while if another mage robe has, let's say, 1 pocket and 1 satchel -> carry weight = +30.
I don't know why my mind some time builds up things like these for herself.
Excellent mod! I actually use this as part of a personal encumbrance overhaul. Basically I put my base carry weight down to zero with Skytweak so that if my character is completely naked the encumbrance reads 0/0. Then give myself the Unhindered/Conditioning perk to make equipped armor not weigh anything, zero all my weapons weights with TES5Edit (unfortunately there's no Unhindered/Conditioning perk for weapons), and voila! My character only has as much space as is actually shown! No more having 300 carry weight yet being completely naked! And there's actually a reason to wear normal clothing once I add speechcraft bonuses to them just using the same method you did with fortify carry weight.
Funny you mention this. There is a mod I always use that has comments when you are completely naked and people telling the Dova to "Sheathe that weapon before you hurt somebody!".
They have it for both females and males. I suggest downloading them. It's a bit of fun and switches the running with weapons comments with the naked comments. They even occasionally applaud as well!
Naked Comments is the name if the mod. Along with this and using the clothes instead of armor it will definitely be useful alongside bandoliers and pouches.
The problem is the Campfire patch had the vainlla version like master, if you use the all in one ( like my case ) or legendary will crash on start for missing master. The only solution is make patch for each version or like with frostfall 3.01 make it for all in one version like master.
Edit. What i dont undertand is, what make this patchs ???? Campfire only add Backpack, fur armors and cloaks and one walking stick which is a "weapon".
I can undertand the Campfire patch for the fur armor but frostfall dont add nothing. I am checking now on TES5edit and only add on armor the bound cloaks and one iron armor but for i understand is only for add the coverage and warmirth values because the iron armor EditorID say _Frost_DummyCuirass, by the that had dont seen not is playable if not like i say before only one tool.
Honestly, I haven't tried new Frostfall yet, so I wasn't sure if it added some new armor. And you are right, I didn't notice _Frost_DummyCuirass, I just focused on names. Thanks for pointing that out About Campfire and Frostfall 2.6 patches, neither use any of the main files as master. And I even just checked it to make sure.
Edit. You are right. I must've put a wrong version of Campfire patch by mistake. Sorry... I'm putting a new version immediately.
Nice idea. It would be great if you would post a guide on how to easily add support to other equipment. Also, I took a quick look at the quest and it seems to only affect the player, do you think you could make it work for NPCs too? At least followers?
I added a guide in the description, hope it's clear. I could try to make it work with followers as well, but honestly I'm not sure how to do that I mean I have an idea but it would mean adding NPCs one by one to the quest. Do you know any easier way to do that?
You mean if it will mess up your game if you install the mod in the middle of it? I don't think so, because it doesn't change any vanilla features, only adding "simple" spell so should be safe.
Only problem I can see is that heavy armors should realistically impede carry weight, not enhance it. Better approach is just to use bags and pouch addons that fortify carry. A tiny pouch that carries 2 lb. of goodies on an armor that weighs 40 lb. is a -38 lb. equation.
On the other hand, a 1 lb. bag that carries 20 lb. of goodies is a +19 equation.
I appreciate the work going into this, but I just think it an unrealistic approach.
The weight of the armor is already added to your encumbrance. Say you have 100/200 encumbrance then you pickup and equip amor weighing 20lbs - your encumbrance is now 120/200. Assuming the armor in question has +10 lbs with this mod then your encumbrance would become 120/210.
Therefore the weight of what you're carrying isn't changing, you can just carry that little bit more because your armor has a pouch to contain additional items. I don't think that's particularly unrealistic.
It depends on the clothes and armor. For example Belted Tunic only increases carrying capacity by 7, because there's only one pouch and it's not too big, for Fur Armor it's 10, Leather Armor - 13. I think it's best to check by yourself. Any comments and remarks are very welcome
I just started a character based on pure roll playing and immersion... a traveler without a home... camping, hunting and surviving. I was in need of a backpack so I could carry all the pelts and meat that I gather. And thougth about the useless pockets in my attire... and then, saved the game, closed the game... check nexus and, for my suprise, some fellow made a mod about it... I FREAKING LOVE YOU MAN!.

Question, will this effect a current play thru, i mean other than adding the features of the mod?
