I downloaded and tested the mod, it is excellent, but I will download it again when a Spanish patch is available to enjoy it in its entirety. great job.
Sorry for the delay in reporting back - the town is lovely! But it does conflict quite a lot with Legendary Cities - Tes Arena's North Keep city (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47989/?). There is a modular version of that mod, though, so it's not the end of the world, players will just have to decide whether or not to use North Keep
Would be nice to have a patch though - would make it part of everyone's inventories - there is not that much that would have to be fixed. I would rather play with both and modular eats up my .esps too much. It would be neat if the mod authors would work it out together - get some good cross endorsement going for both of them as a result.
Just recently I've availed myself to the world of making patches. I put together something that makes True Storms work with the latest version of Purity. I did see some of True Storms features working such as its sounds, but I also broke some things from Purity. Granted, this was my first patch. I didn't even release it because I really don't know how much good it really does. With that said, there's two courses of action I could follow. Either move the town somewhere else. Which is not likely to happen since it takes up two cells in the game. Or attempt to make a patch for Legendary Cities. Truth be told, I've never used Legendary Cities. Don't even know what it does. But maybe that mod author and I can work together to bring our mods together. No promises but we'll see.
Looks really nice! Any idea if it will conflict with the North Keep village in TES Legendary Cities (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47989/?) It *looks* like it will be southwest of that mod. Normally I'd check myself but I haven't had a chance to fire up my test game. Cheers!
Heya thanks Jknjb. I checked the screenshots for the mod in question. While I didn't see one specifically for North Keep Village, I'd be hard pressed to say it would conflict with my mod. Hrothgarson sits a hop and short skip away from Hunter's Rest. Actually, you can see it from that location. All I can say is try my mod out, but don't save your game just yet as doing so will place my mod's data in your save file. If arriving to the town clearly shows mod conflicts, well then a decision has to be made. Either keep my mod or lose it, I won't think ill of you either way :-) Let me know if it does conflict. I've been meaning to put together a "Mod conflicts" section but so far my mod seems to be ok. Cheers!
Wow! This town looks absolutely beautiful! Out of curiosity, I know your description said that some NPCs hand out radiant quests, but is the town itself radiant enabled whereas the Companions, Thieves' Guild, etc. give out quests that point to this town? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the kind words. Especially since this is the largest mod I've ever put together. My player homes pale in comparison. Regarding the companions and other factions and radiant quests, no they don't give out quests involving Hrothgarson. To be honest, the NPC's that tell of rumors was a kind of happy accident on my part. I didn't know how that stuff worked until testing out my mod before uploading.
Maybe in the future I'll come back to this mod and see what I can do about making it radiant quest compatible. But for now, I'm thinking about a quest mod that's been on my mind for over a year now. The plot of this quest is that Durneviir wants to be free of the soul cairn once and for all. So we'll see how that works :-)
Heya Leavhon, I checked out the mod page in question. Given the location of the home in the screenshots, it's not going to conflict with my mod. Thanks for the heads up though as I will remember that area when I make the next mod.
