Version 2 is up with new nifs and weight slider working. Make sure you remove all armor pieces from your character and inventory before you update. Those nifs no longer exist in the file and thus they will disappear when you load game and you don't want that to cause bugs in your game or at least the inventory. Also you will notice there are new textures for the gloves and boots which look much better in my opinion. All the new Nifs are thanks to LOrdOfWar's Witcher 2 models. I had to move things around in his Nifs to make it all work but I'm happy with how it turned out. Any questions or comments feel free to ask to whatever. The jacket is set at 2048, pants at 1024, gloves and boots are 512. If you'd prefer a lower res version just ask and I'll upload it.
The problem with the gloves is also now resolved with the new Nifs so you don't have to worry about that anymore either. You can use whatever gloves you like with it. Personally I prefer patobek's armor of intrigue gloves or crimson archer gloves. The nifs from the seltkirk gloves are not large enough in my opinion but I had to use something to get this done asap.
In case you were wondering. I found the Nifs I needed within the witcher 2 models. I used the Seltkirk gloves, Geralt's jacket, Geralt's boots, and the chainmail armor's black pants. Everything went together nicely except the textures on the herbalist gloves and jackboots from the witcher experience files so I darkened both pieces. You will also notice the new glove nifs are smaller and cause clipping in the armor. I failed horribly at setting up the new gloves myself so I asked patobek for his glove nifs but he hasn't replied. If he does give me permission to use them then i'll upload another update and gloves will look much better.
Hey, as a rule I endorse every piece of standalone armor. Just wonder know for what kind of body (or skeleton) was this costume designed? In my case (Sundracon) it fits not well, should I say: shoulders are too high, the upper back boosted. Especially 0 weight figure looks way stooped.
yea, I would love to do female versions of all my uploads but I am not quite that skilled yet. I can work with what exists and improve upon it or retexture it but I still haven't figured out how to set up female nifs from a male nif. Of course if 3ds max wasn't so expensive I'd buy the 32 bit version and then I could and would...
