I'm not sure what mod I installed that broke these NPCs, but I'm glad I found your mod. It repaired the brown-face bug I was having with all three. I'm using the regular eyes version.
If you check Hert with Detect Life and Dead (detects undead as well) spells with this mod, Hert is detectable only with the Life spell not the Dead one. Which shows she's no longer a vampire, since if she was (and she is normally ingame) she should be (and without this mod is) detectable only with the Detect Dead spell. It goes for both the normal and vampiric eyes version.
While I really like this mod for finally making her more inconspicuous about her true nature I'm bothered that her "true nature" is actually gone, she's just a human now.
Just wanted to point that out, regardless I still appreciate the effort.
As simple as good .Thanks a lot. I was really tired of that broken immersion talking to hert. This should be included on the unofficial patches, seriously.
Actually it's not the only way to revert vampire NPCs to pre-Dawnguard looks and it's quite simple really. All you have to do is open your creation kit, find the NPC in question and then press Ctrl+F4 to how is it called, export face data or something? And in fact Dawnguard doesn't break only Hert, but other vampire NPCs are also changed, like Elisif's court wizardress Sybile (if I remember the name correctly). And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying your mod is useless or anything, I just thought I'll point out that there, in fact, IS another way for this
