Letho's Armor Collection is now up as an optional file. It uses the same esp as the others so obviously you don't need to download both. With the armor collection you will get Letho's armor, boots, gloves, pants, long coat, and armor with sleeves. Simply put I combined them into one esp for those who want all of the options. All the recipes, tempering, and enchanting options are all still there. As always I'll keep trying to fulfill what requests I can. Enjoy.
So, any chance of making a request? Don't know if you do them or not, but figured I'd ask.
I use your sleeved/non-longcoat version exclusively at the moment. I'm wondering if I can request some different sleeves? Something like Jespar's sleeves in Enderal would look great. (Pic below if you're interested.)
The version with sleeves is up for download. It will still show up as the "long coat" in game. I just edited that existing nif and removed the duster part of the coat. Same esp is still used for all 3 files so download only one.
I really like this outfit and appreciate you making it. If there was one thing I would want about it is a version where you wore the hood up. Other than that it looks really good. Thanks.
I could try it. I thought it about it myself. I'd have to mash it with something like miner's clothes or something of that nature. However I am working on fixing the first person view now. It's driving me crazy as well because I am currently using this armor and I don't like leaving things unfinished so I'll get the first person nif done asap, you can be sure of it. Check back for updates soon.
Yea I was trying to get a sleeved version made for it but I'm missing something in the NIfs. Every time I put it in the CK it bugs out. I've never done a mashup like that. Turned out to be harder than I thought. So many little details in those nifs and I lost track of something. Soon as I figure it out I will do a new esp for it but attach it to this as an optional file.
Well it appears there's no way to apply those sleeves to this armor without making it look really sloppy. At least not without editing the clothing mesh in something like 3ds. The size of the chest is just entirely too large for all the clothing 1nifs and 0nifs. Basically Letho's armor is just smaller than Skyrim's meshes, so whatever I try to mash with it just ends up covering half the chest or it ends up with big gaps.
Thanks. And you're welcome. At least I learned a bit about doing mashups. Maybe I'll do something in that direction after I finish setting up these other witcher armors.
I am guessing both of those are in "skyrim witcher experience"? That's the one by AlphaWolf that Talyn82 is now working on fixing. If so I can upload the armors as single files like this. I already have permission. However, the Nifs are only one size. Body weight 35 in Racemenu. So basically the body slide is non existent at the moment. I need to figure out how to edit them in blender or something but I hate blender. They work fine if you don't mind a single size body weight though. Check the images on the original mod and let me know if the one you are looking for is there.
Yeah, it does have it but the pauldrons are different. It's like the Kinslayer texture on the Tir Na Lia armor. Wonder if those textures from that Witcher 2 mod would work if converted to .dds format. Sucks real bad about the weight as my character is always set at 100. Still it'd be cool to see. There's a lot of nice armors in that mod. Be cool if you made just an armor compilation too. I know all this is a lot of work and don't want to presume anything.
Also I have one little request for Letho's armor. Could you move the knives down off his chest and onto the metal portion of the textured body? Should look like this:
That'd make the armor perfect. Just wish there was a Letho follower in Skyrim, he's the best character in any game I've ever played. "Mountain of muscle." (To quote Geralt.)
Yea I would like to eventually upload all of them one at a time. Still really hoping someone will step in and volunteer to do the weight nifs since it takes so much time just to get the files set up and put through the CK as is. The texture paths in the armor are all dependent on a "geralt" skin so I have to remove that and then set all the normal files up. It's weirdness but I got the first one uploaded "witcher's armor of the dark hunt" and I'll continue to keep putting them up here and adding in a request for help and such. We'll see what happens with all that. As far as the knives on Letho's armor, I'm not sure if I have the skill to move them without messin up the nif but who knows, I've never really tried.
Oh ok. Thought it'd be easy as I thought the armor and the blades were two separate nifs but any attempt to try to fix Letho's armor would be appreciated. I hope someone can do the weight slider for you too. Apparently it's pretty hard to set up as I see a lot of armor mods don't have that supported. Looking forward to see what's coming in the future though. Wish there were more Witcher 3 armor ports.
Yea I'm trying to learn how to separate pieces of a nif lately. Though it's a bit harder for a piece in the center of the abdomen like that. But I agree with you. They would look much better if moved. I would love to remove them and use them as a secondary slot item on other armors as well. As far as the witcher 3 gear, unless people are getting bored of skyrim, then I think we'll see more soon.
Yes, sadly LOrdOfWar never made a first person Nif for Letho's gloves so I tried to edit that and failed. Thus it appears as a gap which I haven't been able to fix without that Nif. Soon as I get the Nif for first person working, I'll put in an update
I've fixed it by using the immersive first person camera, but I honestly prefer the regular first person view. Oh well, at least now I can play a rogue that doesn't use thieves guild armor.
One day this week it should be fixed. Trying to work on it right now. I think I figured out what I did... Or not. Just spent another hour combing through it and still it confuses me. I got the mesh set up launched it in game to test and still the gap appears. So, I made some progress getting the mesh done but it won't attach so I'm probably forgetting something else. I'll work on it more this weekend.
No problem. I'm using this set myself so, just know it will get fixed. I just made some weird errors setting up the Nif. So I'm going back over it again and again til I figure it out. In the meantime it shouldn't hurt your game or your character saves. It's purely visual. There were actually a few armors in Skyrim's files that were like this for the first year or two. It happens
Yeah, I'm not too worried about it. I'm probably going to use it for a follower (Inigo) since I'm always a heavy armor player. One day I may try it though.

Please!
(You might remember me requesting the sleeved version over a year ago!)
Can I make a request though? I dont know if its too difficult, but could you try and make a version of Letho's armor with sleeves?
And thanks for fixing the first person view!
I'll take your silence as a no. Thanks anyways for your mods!
Impatiently waiting for the results!
I like this Tir Na Lia texture on this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher2/mods/219/?

Should look like this:
