Same comment as Jaelli, the Christmas tree wont activate and I don't have SSE nor do I know how to use use the CK, either the mod works as intended or it doesn't and in my case it doesn't work ... sadly because its a great house.

Edit: also tried your Craftsman's Cabin and the same result there with the Christmas Tree and also cant sit on the crate? again theses are great homes if they worked as intended...

The issue is currently under testing with the help of Jaelli. Please wait a bit, but I really can't promise that we can fix it.

Think we got it now. Try the latest file in the downloads area - the one at the top.

You'll need to put the .psc files in the data/scripts/source folder, and the .pex files in the data/scripts folder; the .nif file for the window from the Waterfall Cabin Resource mesh folder goes in data/meshes.

I'm not sure if NMM handles that sort of thing natively. I just do loose stuff myself....

Ista - give us a bit. I'm sending Rin a zip with the folders all set up just to overwrite. I'm not a modder, so I'm not sure how NMM or MO do things - but with a different folder structure (which will match with the normal data folder setup) manually overwriting should put things where they need to be.

Really love the place! However, none of the activators for sitting, the christmas tree, etc. seem to work. The bookshelves are fine.... It's in my load order where LOOT put it, pretty far down in the order.

Actually, the "normal" sittable stuff - chairs, bar stools - work fine. It's things like the counter, the stair rail etc. that don't do anything.

The bed works fine to sit on as well as sleep. The bookshelves work fine for books but not sitting.

I don't know about load order, and I also don't understand why doesn't those things work for you. I didn't change those in the new version, in fact didn't even touch them. Well except the christmas tree. In my game they work as intended. What is the problem? You push E to sit and nothing happens?

Yes. Well - not E since I have "activate/use" mapped to spacebar.... But yes, I activate using spacebar and nothing happens. I have - um - over 200 mods, only about 165 active on this character, and the activators work in other house mods (went back and added a few just to check it wasn't something wonky with this particular character - it's not.... Everything in Revak Rift, Elysium Estate, and Lake Haven work just fine). Truthfully I don't much care about the "sitting" places - but I really did want the Christmas tree to work!

I'll go back in the morning and see if using E as activate key works. I don't have it mapped to anything else, I just don't like the position of the key on the keyboard for activation.

[I never downloaded the first version. This is the first time I've seen this mod....]

I don't think it depends on if the activation key is E or not. But I really don't know why it isn't working for you, if it's working in my game. I upgraded some other mods of mine to have christmas trees. They are named Ayleriel and Craftsman's Cabin. You could try those maybe. Although I did those the same way I did this one. All three works for me. We should somehow figure out what causes it to not work in your game.
Edit: Actually if I have the time (and it's 4 am, all I have is time) I like to browse my commenters and endorsers' recent activites. What kinda things did they download, to see if my mod fits well with other mods they like. And I noticed that you downloaded mods for the Skyrim Special Edition. Could that be the problem for you, that none of my mods are for SSE? Just a thought.

I'm running both versions. I downloaded this mod for vanilla, not SSE. I'm not playing SSE as much because so many of the mods I love need SKSE, and it's not done yet for SSE (from what behippo says, it's a few months down the road probably).

I'll check those other two of yours, and see if they work for me. It's really strange - the only other time I had an issue similar was when one of ld's mods was missing a script or two.

      Edited to add:

I tried both Craftsman's Cabin and Ayleriel. Same thing with both of them - normal activators are fine, Christmas Tree, extra sittables aren't. It may be something with one of my other mods, but I have so many it's a PITA to try to figure it out.

I'll just use it the way it is, no worries!

Well yeah, my other idea was mod conflict or something. It makes me sad that you can't use the christmas tree. However if you have creation kit, I have a suggestion. Open this mod in the creation kit, find the christmas tree. There is an xmarker somewhere near it (I believe I put it on the other side of the wall into the void) that is connected to all of the ornaments on the christmas tree. Click edit on that xmarker and take out the tick from the initially disabled box, then save. That should make the ornaments show, hopefully even if the activator does not work.

I really like what you have done here! I'll track for moment as I have a stuffed load order. But I was looking for a quirky place and this might be it! Nice work and thank you!
