Doesn't use that many. The number in brackets is how many his character was carrying.

FYI for anyone interested. This mod works perfectly in Skyrim Special Edition straight out of the box. In fact, because it just references the vanilla meshes/textures, it even combines with "Sleeved Guards and Stormcloaks" perfectly, as well, which just replaces those meshes/textures.

I did a few personal tweaks to make the light armor match leather and the heavy match steel for armor sets (both armor stats and making them work with perks), and I couldn't be happier.

Endorsed, for SSE use no less. Thank you, Manus812 for the mod.

I'm interested in seeing the intended features mentioned in the 3.0 version of this mod, though I'm uncertain of how to do so myself.

If I can simply replace the meshes in this mod with those of Sleeved Stormcloaks / Sleeved Guards and Stormcloaks, I would be happy. But I'm not sure if this will work the way I want it too. I'm not a modeler by any means, so I have no idea of the tools I would need to use to doctor the armors together, let alone how I would do that and make it look good. I can, however, rearrange mesh and texture files in the Data folders / CK very well. This wouldn't give me any variants, Sleeves being the only option, but that would definitely be my preference.

Hoping to do this so I can have Sleeved Guard (Mail) Armors as craftable / leveled-list-distributed armor, while replacing the vanilla guard armors with those from another mod (Yet Another Guard Armor). I don't believe the Guard Helmets are included in this, but I can add those on my own. Would just be a matter of saving the vanilla files, and building new helmets loaded with the saved vanilla meshes/textures.

I posted somewhere else about a solution to this. But if someone else has one, I'd be very excited to hear about it.

I've been looking for a mod like this for awhile now. I really didn't like the idea of being a poser. Now I can get mail without stealing from my Guard buddies. Great work Manus812.

Why is there no Stormcloak version?

Are helmets included? If not, it might be a good idea to add them, I dunno.

Absolutely like this mod, very useful (i renamed the armours to the respective Holds), now i gonna grab v2.0 to equipping heavy armour preference followers. It's already endorsed. The mod is actually underrated.

As already mentioned, the mod would be a little more (than) perfect, when a Thane armour version would be available ie. with the Hold's symbol, lot of work if for each Hold - so a compromise could be just one version (light and heavy, so two) with a non-used tunica colour, ie. a neutral anthrazit (dark-grey). Just my cents once more (i don't demand/expect anyhing, just thoughts).

      Thank you.
I think I will consider a "Thane" version, however no promises. It may be beyond my simple modding skills, but I will take a quick look.

No, these will not be counted as a guard disguise.

Thanks for this, when i play my skyrim next i will certainly add this!

Perhaps you could add a heavy armor version of these armors for those who like to wear the guard armor but want the traits of heavy armor. Though i have been looking for heavy guard armor i can't find any even if it's just the normal light armor switched to heavy.

I will add heavy armor versions of these armors. Nothing fancy, just listed as Heavy armor, same Armor Rating, look and utilizes Heavy Armor perks etc.

      Nice, good for Lydia etc..

Your mod is tested now with the Whiterun armour (and all care renamed as mentioned below/Hold names; playing German Skyrim version, ithen got the "pale" termn in your names, lol).

The mod v1.0 makes exactly what you described on the desc page, no issues. Endorse.

Still would be keen on slightly texture- and stat changed Thane versions

      Thanks a lot man!

I'm currently building a Tundra Defense (which is a mod) and i want to gear up my guards with nice gear like this so the heavy armor would be very nice indeed!

I also just noticed that some armors have chain-mail texture and some have fur textures which i never knew haha.

      EDIT: Just endorsed ;>

Thanks for this mod, seems to be pretty useful, really good idea, will try it.

    Edit:

Just looked at pics, why only one such armour has the added Hold name 'Pale', would have been nice to name them all along their Hold-relation (just will do it on my own, so no issue for me).

You know, what would be awesome?

Putting to each of them a Thane version, which is
    a) still better in stats (along studded vanilla) and
    b) slightly re-textured, ie. reflects a tad more studded armour quality (if possible, just use vanilla textures).
Perhaps for this purpose (Thane), heavy armour versions, as well, which have iron or steal plate instead of the male armour behind the colour-tunics and leather-parts.
In conclusion, those armours could be used even to the end of the game (just not soleley start-mid game)? Nice for Thane-roleplays. Plus, the other (standard) ones could serve for (multiple) followers, stationed per Hold, as Thane's housetroops aka bodyguards.

I'm personally not keen to be able to make imperial (or Stormcloak) armour - imo. this mod should be excl. for the Hold armours.

Just my cents. Thanks for sharing. Will endorse later, when tested..

The pale in the name of the armor refers to the colour, not the hold btw.
